We have an Axkid minikid 2 that we love. Not spinning but the weight limits for spinning isofix seats are maxed out sooner rather than later. The Axkid is Swedish plus tested and rear faces until about 4/5 so we’ve not gotta think about another seat until then luckily!!

Avionaut stardust! Well tested can front face in the future, (after 21kg) is isofix so really easy to install 😊

Water stuck in dummy

Hi just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to get water out of the dummy teat? I sterilised in boiling water and when I took them out the teats all have water in them. One is a tommee tippee, another is a mam and another is a Tesco one if that makes any difference. Thanks!

Help! Difficult newborn

I thought the newborn stage was meant to be easy! My 3 week old is very hard to get to fall asleep… is breastfed but won’t feed to sleep… I’m having to rock or walk around for ages for every nap? Anyone else like this is this normal?

Sex - when? Where? How???

I'm wondering when, where and how you're having sex (if you are) if you have a baby.

Some context: our baby is 3.5months old. She sleeps very well, but in the bed with me (not looking for cosleeping advice or debates here, I know the guidelines and follow them).

My husband sleeps in a separate bed (to reduce the cosleeping risks). We have a bedside cot but she rarely sleeps in there because as soon as we put her in there, she wakes up. For now, it's all working out pretty well. She sleeps all night pretty much, and both me and my husband get a pretty good night's sleep.

My question is when and where do you have sex if you're in a similar situation?

We can't seem to make it happen because she always wakes up, despite being a very good sleeper at literally any other time 😅

Contact napping

If you contact napped, did you eventually put your baby down to sleep in their bassinet or crib? At what age was your baby able to be put down after falling asleep on you.

MAM bottles

I’m looking at moving up to the next size mam bottles ( think size 2?) but they don’t fit in the microwave to sterilise!!

Very stupid question but when cold water sterilising do we take them all out and make them up and do they then stay sterile for 24 hours?
