2AM and your baby is crying.

All needs have been met. He’s 2 weeks old.
Do you pick him up and hold him til he sleeps or let him cry as to “regulate himself.” Dad seems to think he has to cry it out at 2AM verses him being picked up.

He’s 2 weeks old. It actually blows my mind that anyone would think that leaving him to cry is the answer.

He is so tiny, please do not let your babies cry it out omg.
They can’t regulate themselves and just want to be held and feel safe..

A man saying this about a 2 week old would be a red flag for me. Of course you can’t leave a 2 week old to cry, feels like it shouldn’t need to be explained to an adult

Wtf cio is soooo bad at any age

Once baby gets a little older you can start letting them cry a little at a time to avoid crying to be held. But 2 weeks old is definitely way to early. Babies dont sleep through the night at 2 weeks old

Just needing some support 😬

My twins were 6 weeks early and currently 5 months gestational. Due to their size they are considered “severe malnutrition” so I’m having to feed (formula) every 3 hours still. I know they need it so of course I will do it but this momma needs some sleep. I just feel like a bad mom and super selfish that I complain about wanting sleep when my babies need me

Do you go out morning or afternoon?

Just wanting a bit of a sense check on this one because I feel like I’m the only one who waits until the afternoon to do my errands or play activities. In the morning, we try and stick close by the house (maybe the park, gym daycare, food shop, etc) because I don’t like chancing a car nap on the way home because it’s like 50/50 as to whether or not I’ll be able to get her into her crib asleep.

Post-nap and lunch, she’s ready to go and there’s pretty much no danger of her falling asleep. I’ve even had her out until 5:30/6pm without any issues. But soooo many of the mum meet ups or activities are in the mornings, so I feel like I’m in the minority.

Overtired

My daughter is 1 month old tomorrow and this has happened twice so far. She’s tired to the point where she’s crying for a good half an hour and the only thing that gets her to fall asleep is either walking around with here or putting her in her pram and rocking it back and forth. Any tips and tricks?

Vaccines

Has anyone chosen to not have their children vaccinated?

If so, what were your reasons? I haven't had mine vaccinated but curious as to why others havent.

I dont want any arguments or judgement please i'm just intrigued.

Toddlers hitting

So I’m looking for more things to try to stop my son from hitting, he has just turned 2. I feel like I have tried every method that I can think of to stop him from hitting and I’m not sure what to do anymore so I would like some suggestions from some more experienced parents! He has also recently started not specifically spitting, but like blowing raspberries, causing him to spit any advice is appreciated!

Do you wake up your baby to breastfeed at night?

My baby is 6 weeks, I tried to wake him up a couple times but he was so deep asleep I couldn’t wake him up properly, he was sucking for less then 5 minutes and then fell asleep again.
Another time I woke him up and after feeding he was fully awake for almost 2 hours and since then he wakes me up when he’s hungry.
What is your experience with night time feeding sessions ?
