Im curious how long it took everyone to leave the house after giving birth?
Whenever people asked how old my daughter was they always say " wow i would still be home recovering "
I had natural births with both 1 unledicated and 1 with gas and air i had a 3rd dagree tear with my first and a 2nd with my 2nd child and had stitches with both
With both kids i was out and about the day after as i just hated being home but everyone just always seemed so suprised but i imagine im not the only one ? 😅

I had C Section with Small Baby and left the house the day after my discharge. Doing washing the same day. But everyone’s recovery is different. I prefer being local though as I find a lot of random people don’t respect my newborns boundaries when they see a new baby x

The day after needed to take my first born to school. I did get the you should be resting also but aslong as you know your body do what you're comfortable with

I left after day 2, 2nd degree tear and gas and air. Weather was glorious, why would I stay at home?! I got comments of going out for about 6 weeks after she was born

Both my boys were born via c section. I was home on day 6 with my first and out and about on day 7 and I was home on day 4 with my second and out and about the same day lol.
Same reason I'd go stir crazy sitting at home and with a toddler to entertain it's easiest to get back into routine. Xx

Literally the next day as I have two other children and we all get bored indoors 😂 I got so many comments but also think when you have other children, life goes on and it's not fair that the older ones should have to be cooped up indoors. I think I'd struggle mentally if I stayed indoors but I know everyone is different xx

I’m a FTM and I was severely anxious about leaving the house by myself with the baby. Had an episiotomy, left the house by myself on a walk around the block on day 6. Probably after the first 3-4 weeks I started going on daily walks. Still not confident to drive somewhere for a walk, still anxious about what if the baby gets hungry in public (I’m EBF).
