Has anyone's little one previously eaten everything but now is becoming a bit fussy at dinnertime?
The last week or two he's not eaten much of the actual dinners we've had, and he's had some fruit etc instead so he's not going to bed hungry, but he's also getting to the age where he knows where the fruit and stuff he likes is kept so as soon as he doesn't try something he's sometimes straight away pointing there now! We try and give him fruit as opposed to his snacks when it happens but I'd still rather he ate his actual dinners aswell!
Any ideas or anyone had something similar and what have you done?

My little boy did this for a couple of weeks. He’s always been an amazing eater and suddenly he was turning down meals I know he loved and throwing his food without even trying it etc. He just stopped and went back to normal out of the blue so hopefully it’s the same for your little one 🤞 xx

I think it’s mostly a phase / developmental as we’ve been going through it too. It’s like a month of good eating followed by a month of refusing.
Advice I was given was to continue offering safe & new foods, don’t just offer what they’ll like and keep trying and encouraging. Sometimes I say “if we try this we can have this” and she will. So 90% of the time she’s being fussy and does actually like the food she just wants the safer option x
