Just started solids 2 weeks ago, my baby is a 6mo, and eats 1 spoon if we're lucky. I know it's normal, but just wondering how long does it take for him to actually eat?

We waited until 6months to introduce solids although he was VERY interested in eating a while before that. This is why he ate right from the startš

I think each month or so i gradually increased... went based on his signs. Then in toddler age you get a new set of stress because i had him eating so healthy but now his eating is all over the place regardless of what i do, so imo following their cues is the best and least stressful

Food under one is for fun.

My little boy was still having 6 bottles a day until 16m when something suddenly clicked for him and he dropped them all overnight and finally started eating solids š

Honestly can take a while, my first took to it quickly and by 7.5months was doing 2 meals a day!
But my second born has like 1-3 mouthfuls at the same ages
