Bad baby

Anyone has an abusive little one. My 7month old loves to kick people in the face, slap, pinch, scratch. He has even punched his uncle in the eye a few times. Oh and don't wear a wig or bonnet around him. He also loves to pull facial hair.

I'm not really complaining I just find it hilarious

Edit: I'm aware it's not actually abuse but rather curiousity and exploration.

My lo is the same. Most of the time she just thinks it's play. But I wouldn't call it abusive. They don't have the awareness and control to call it that at that early stage. All we can do is teach them it's not great to hit other people - it takes time, but they get it eventually (hopefully😅😉 )

She loves taking my hat off my head and then hitting me in the face with it - laughing at my pain lmao

Episiotomy

Ladies who have had an episiotomy, how long afterwards did we shave/trim?

TMI feel like I have a jungle going off down there and my stitches are starting to hurt a bit and I can’t exactly see the stitches/scar it’s self.
I’m only 2 weeks pp so appreciate it will still be a little uncomfortable.

Leftover medication

When I was pregnant I had gestational diabetes. I was only able to get a box of 5 insulin pens at a time on prescription and therefore have 3 full and completely unused pens (no needles) left with a date for use in 2028. They’ve all been properly stored in the fridge.

Seems a shame to bin them yet impossible to pass them on to anyone and pharmacies etc won’t take them. Does anyone know if there is anything I can do with them or do they just have to go in the bin?

Leaking Nappy

My 6 week old is 4kg and moved into size 2 nappies this week. Every night this week her nappy has leaked regardless of size or brand (Aldi and Pampers sizes 1 and 2). We are lucky what she is a good sleeper so get the length of time between changes will be having an impact. But any suggestions on how to stop her waking up covered in her own mess? 😬

Postpartum anger

Does this postpartum anger ever go away? Or am I stuck with it for the rest of my life? I really hate bing mad and I don’t know what to do. My husband notices and he gets mad at me being mad. “Just calm down. I know she’s a lot but you need to calm down.” Like I know I know I just get so irritated sometimes. She’s a lot sometimes. She’s overall pretty good. But lately she’s very colicky. Won’t let me put her down. So I have to carry her. My arms get sore. Then I put her down again and she cries so much. She’s 6 months old. Is this normal? Do they ever get independent or is that only some kids? Most times I put her down to play and she’ll play for maybe 15 minutes by herself and then she’ll look for me and try crawl over to me. She can’t yet but she’s getting it. Shes crawling backwards right now. Ugh idk. I just feel touched out and overwhelmed sometimes. I need to work on it I’m thinking of going to therapy. Thinking of fostering next year but idk. I would hate to traumatize an already traumatized kid. Anyone relate? Does it ever go away?

When did you come on your period postpartum?

How long did it take for you to get periods back?

With my first, I didn't have a period for 6 months and was breastfeeding. This time round I'm 8 weeks postpartum, breastfeeding and I've come on my period. 😕
