I breastfed my baby for the first time yesterday after formula feeding and managed to get her to latch after a few goes but then after that she just screamed for ages and wouldn’t latch so I gave her bottles the rest of the time but then this morning I got her to latch again but then again at the next feed she just screamed for ages again and wouldn’t latch on. I’ve tried different holding positions but none of them seem to make any difference. Does anyone have any tips on how I can help her latch? Thank you

Touch your nipple to the tip of her nose each time. This was life changing advice for me in the beginning of my breastfeeding journey.

I would also say to try and latch every time you feed to try and get her used to it. It’s likely that she’s not getting the milk as quickly as she does with the bottle so she’s getting frustrated.
Just needs a little time to get the knack of it and a bit of persistence from you!
