- talk to your Dr's about any anxieties you might be having. I found them very reassuring.
- don't feel like you have to have your baby on your chest straight after. They did for me and I had to ask them to move him because it was too uncomfortable and overwhelming.
- have a sick bucket ready for when the meds wear off. I projectiled for about 5 mins then was fine.
- enjoy lots of little bites and sips of toast and water aftet
- don't overdo it when you're healing. Rest for longer than you think you need to.
- press a sanitary pad against the scar to keep it dry as it heals, especially if you have an apron belly.
- when you poop after, relax and breathe out like you're blowing out candles on your toes. Don't push.

Say yes to the sepisitory. Its a strong antionflamitory they put up your bum straight after surgery you dont feel it.

I needed buscipan to help with my gut pain. OMG the wind build up in my intenstine was horrific! Was weird farting without pushing a fart out which only happened after I took the buscipan (given while I was in hospital).

Take what ever you need pain wise. I had ibprofine, paracetamol, diahydracodine and oramorph. Didnt get rid of the pain, made it semi bareable (they did agrovate my dodgy rib during surgery so my ribs hurt alongside my incision)

Rolling over

So my daughter is 16 weeks (soon to be exactly 4 months on the 25th). Im looking at the milestones tracker one of which being rolling over.

She can roll from her back on to her side and then to her back again but not from back to front and cant roll at all when on her front.... when do we class babies as being able to roll? When can I tick this off?

Pic of her playing with monochrome square.

Life with a FOMO baby 🫠

How are you all doing?

I feel like everyone is back to working out, watching TV, having sex and going on vacations. While I'm still living the newborn phase, with frequent crying, feeding, waking in the night, living off frozen meals 🫩. If anyone says do it while the baby sleeps, doesn't have a FOMO baby 😂

32 week growth scan

Just had my growth scan and baby already measuring 4lbs 11oz! I’m absolutely beside myself wondering why he’s so big! My first baby only 5lbs 8oz at full term so I’m pretty stressed. Not been given a reason to why he’s bigger than adverage but they said they wanted to rebook my next growth scan and speak to a doctor. But I feel so worried to why they want me to speak to a doctor. I’m scared they aren’t telling me something
