What would you consider to be normal language levels for a 1.5 year old?

My 1.5 year old has about 15 words and I’m worried this is not enough.

I’d consider that very normal x

It’s very very normal , my son hardly spoken proper words , he is 3 now and speak non stop

My son spoke way less than that at 1.5 x

At that age my son wasn't speaking almost at all. At 2.5 years old he was speaking full sentences in 2 languages and we are having full on conversation.

I saw someone on here say they wash their children once a week… the ages are 6 years old and 9 months and I was just very much shocked 😭 is this normal in some cultures?

Feel like sometimes people forget babies are MEANT to be babies…

Insist on them sleeping alone before ready
Expect them to be able to self soothe
Expect them not to be “clingy”
Expect them to sleep through, or if they do for it then to do it every night
Expect them to sometimes not just cry for what may seem like no reason

More controversial one but appreciate sometimes medically necessary - Eat solid food at 4 months.

Normal infant needs and behaviours are not flaws or issues that need fixing. More of a reality check post for any mums out there that think they’re doing something wrong because your baby is just acting like a baby.

But some of you do need to remember babies aren’t mini adults 🥴
