Baby carriers?

I have a 7 month baby, and she is pretty heavy to hold now when I need to get things done. I’ve been on a search for baby carriers and I found two, the wildbird carrier or the tush baby with the snug. Need some opinions on which is better, or recommendations!

I personally have only tried the tush baby. My guy is heavy and it barely feels like I'm holding him. It especially helps with my wrist.

I use it also for breast feeding while I'm out and the snug attachment is great when I need to be completely hands free or he is ready for his nap.

I do wish there was a mesh alternative for the snug attachment but it honestly not bad I just clip a fan to us if needed.

Also the attachment folds uo neatly into the large pocket

Hygiene

I saw someone on here say they wash their children once a week… the ages are 6 years old and 9 months and I was just very much shocked 😭 is this normal in some cultures?

Bad baby

Anyone has an abusive little one. My 7month old loves to kick people in the face, slap, pinch, scratch. He has even punched his uncle in the eye a few times. Oh and don't wear a wig or bonnet around him. He also loves to pull facial hair.

I'm not really complaining I just find it hilarious

Edit: I'm aware it's not actually abuse but rather curiousity and exploration.

Feel like sometimes people forget babies are MEANT to be babies…

Insist on them sleeping alone before ready
Expect them to be able to self soothe
Expect them not to be “clingy”
Expect them to sleep through, or if they do for it then to do it every night
Expect them to sometimes not just cry for what may seem like no reason

More controversial one but appreciate sometimes medically necessary - Eat solid food at 4 months.

Normal infant needs and behaviours are not flaws or issues that need fixing. More of a reality check post for any mums out there that think they’re doing something wrong because your baby is just acting like a baby.

But some of you do need to remember babies aren’t mini adults 🥴
