Do you think people who put their children in nursery/with nanny full time Mon-Fri are selfish?

This is based off a different post a few days ago.
Do people who think it’s selfish feel that way because it’s not mum looking after them (mum is full time) or is it because it’s specifically nursery?

Difficult question.

Do I think children are better off being at home with a loving, healthy (no drugs alcohol abuse etc) parent than at nursery…yes.

Do I think being selfish is always a bad thing…no.
Do I think immediate carers need to be able to fill their own cup so they can fill their child’s to the best extent… yes.

I think there’s a lot of layers to it. Yes, a bit selfish. But that does not necessarily mean it is a bad thing to be selfish, sometimes.
