How can we make nappy changes not as uncomfortable/ scary?
My baby HATES nappy changes. He gets so upset and furious it's hard to calm him down afterwards, even with the boob.
It's so upsetting and stressful for all of us, baby, my partner and I!
Any tips and tricks for how to make more comfortable? We already have something soft to lie on, we already go slow (but fast when needed) and putting down bum first, but when he starts wriggling, the moro reflex start and scares him and he starts crying!

My little one has to lay on a muslin cloth as the changing mat is cold and she doesn’t like it, I tend to give her some of her feed, change her nappy and then follow with the rest after to settle her; also warming up the wipes helps as cold ones startle her, but even then sometimes sits still a struggle x hope you find something that helps x

Im considering getting one as well as I thought it was a waste too at the moment I hold the individual wipes in my hands for a little bit before using them to warm them up x have you tried using like a rolled up blanket to put around so he can’t startle himself as much as he would be supported on both sides? I find that when I change her on a pillow at night or on my legs she seems to be a lot more settled as she can’t roll side to side x
