No one in my family likes my baby name :(

I don’t want to confirm what it is because I dont want them to see me being sad on here but the name is similar to Callum. It’s not a weird name or spelling. I’m just so sad

My family hated my cousins baby’s name, to the point my uncle got up and left the hospital without seeing the baby.
He’s now 8, that’s his name and not an issue since that first day. If you like it then that’s end of.

Mate!!!! You pick your child's name! Screw what other people's opinions are. People are entitled to an opinion but not a decision. Dont stress. At the end of the day what ever name you pick they will have to respect it! Xx

These July babies don’t hang around. My little dude arrived 2 weeks before his due date.

29 week scan

So we had an extra scan today because of my BMI being high.
They told us she has hair!! I can’t quite figure it out from these pictures, any ideas? I have googled what hair on an ultrasound looks like and I’m not sure you can really see it from the angle of these pictures. I think they may have seen it when they were doing the checks haha

Any other babies quieter?

It’s super hot and I’m trying to stay hydrated. I’ve felt baby move today but not as much as normal. Anyone else?

Can partner take baby home from hospital if I have to stay in? 🇬🇧🇬🇧

I'm having a planned c section. Last time was during covid and it was horrid as was in awful pain, had a bad reaction to the oromorph and I pretty much was passing out.

I had to stay in for 2 nights after the c section. Baby was fine. My husband can only stay until 10pm. If baby passes all checks can he take the baby home with him? I won't be allowed to be discharged until at least the following day so it would be around 12 hours without baby with me.

Bowel movements - 5 days after c section

I have no strength in my belly to push out any wind or to push for a poo 5 days after a c section. Did anyone else ever have this?

I did go day 3, but it was loose as i took laxatives and it happened on its own, I couldn’t push or stop it just happened.

I tried talking to midwives today about it as I can feel that I need to go, or pass wind but genuinely can’t as I just can’t push it out, it’s like numb. They didn’t do anything though but I’m so worried as I just want to have normal feeling. I’ve never heard of this before?!

C-section recovery

How are we all doing? I had a planned section this time, after having an emergency one 3.5 years ago and I don’t know what I was expecting but I thought it would be easier this time. Safe to say it has not been easy!
