Has anyone transferred to a different OB like outside of the practice that their other OB was at midway through their pregnancy? Did a new OB accept you as a patient and deliver your baby even if most of your appointments were with someone else?

Yes I switched at nearly 30 weeks. Explained why I wanted to transfer (OB was constantly dismissing my concerns and overlooked a UTI that got so bad I ended up in UC getting immediate treatment for to keep from going septic) I could no longer trust her with my care. Had an office say no to my request and the one that said yes is delivering my third baby soon. Swapped my last pregnancy nearly through. As long as your reason is valid and they aren't already over booked with moms expecting around the same time they should be able to swap you over just call and inquire.

I switched half way through with my current pregnancy because they weren't totally supportive of me having a VBAC. I'm working with midwives and a doula now and they are all really supportive of VBACs, so I'm feeling much more optimistic. I love this new practice I'm with now
