Taking care of yourself as a SAHM

Is it genuinely hard for you to keep up with yourself, keep your nails and toes done, keep your hair done, dress nice and not sit in pjs all day, my man makes me feel like shit because i just idk im so consumed in trying to get back into school and take care of my 1 year old, doing that is just not the main focus even though i do want to be in put together i just ughhhhh

You deserve to sit in ur pjs! You carried that baby for 9 months have birth to that baby! As a mom of 2 I have a 7 year old and a 2 month old I LIVE in my pjs because us moms deserve to be comfy while taking care of kids plus cooking meals and doing house things, why dirty more clothes when you can be comfy all day 🤷🏻‍♀️ also my toes are never done because I don’t have time and my hair is clipped into a bun 24/7 we’re allowed to be comfy while taking care of our kids don’t let anyone make you feel bad ♥️♥️

I love sitting in my pjs, my man gets me new pyjamas soo often because of how much I luv it lol. I always have my nails, self care beauty done because he forces me too lol he loves seeing me happy n feeling pretty. It’s helped loads because I used to be the mum that didn’t have time now he makes sure I have a lot

Currently 3 months postpartum.. I must admit it’s very hard finding time to have a shower, brush teeth,.. do the basic needs and even cleaning the house/cooking food tbh but you work around it when baby is sleeping or distracted by playtime - good to have support to watch bubs while you take that time for yourself
I might have baby in the pram next to me or in the carrier which helps
Most days I’m in my pjs though so don’t feel bad, but if you feel like getting dressed up and find the time then do it even if it’s for 5 minutes.. sometimes it’s nice to do that one thing for yourself (getting dressed, making a nice treat for yourself..)

I haven’t had a peaceful shower in god knows when even when my husband is home he doesn’t know how to leave me alone. I shower when my kids are asleep and I still feel like I need to rush to shower I have 4 kids
