I hate my Stokke YoYo pram! 😭😅

We got this pram mainly based on recommendations from other mum friends. Felt like the perfect pram as its cabin compatible, and we didn’t want a seperate travel pram so this is our everyday pram. After using it for a year, I hate it! The basket underneath is hard to access because of the pram frame and SO small. I find myself on my knees in the shopping centre trying to stuff my things under there. Super annoying.

The 6 month seat, even when in upright position, I find my baby slouching and sliding off the seat constantly. Oh and she’s figured out how to unbuckle the belt lol. It also doesn’t recline fully.

Opening and closing it is a hassle. It’s super fidgety, and the button underneath the seat is hard to access. After experience, I think I would prefer one that you can open and close with one hand.

So I’ve decided to sell my pram and I want to get something else that fits our lifestyle better.

Any recommendations for a cabin compatible pram, that reclines fully for naps, opens and closes with one hand and has an easy to access and larger basket underneath please x

Silver cross Nia - it’s our travel pram but we could use it for everyday, cabin approved. Basket is pretty big too. We love it!

Sleep regression?

Baby has started screaming at night everytime I put him down in his next to me and won’t stop unless I’m cuddling him. Is this the sleep regression? Anyone else experiencing it?

Someone just kissed my baby’s face

My FIL just kissed my baby’s face. It’s the 4th time he’s seen my baby, so I didn’t think to list out all the rules again. We got him to stop, but I’m freaking out. I felt like I was having a panic attack ( I feel better now but I’m still really worried about my baby). I contacted my pediatricians office, but they are closed so I won’t hear back until tomorrow. My husband told me that I’m over reacting … I don’t know if anyone has had this happen to them? Am I overreacting?

Sleep help

Could I ask how do you get your LO down for a nap or for bed?

My first was really difficult having to rock/ shush for every nap/sleep til around 4 months where my second is better she still isn’t 100% settled.

At the minute we are using a dummy (only last few days) which is really helping for sleep, but yesterday she had a wake window for 4 hours as nothing would work and then it took an hour to settle her as she was obvs over tired.

Just feel like we’re doing something wrong as some friends say they’d just put their LO down and they’d drop off 🫠

Help- desperate!

Long story short, I am 5 days pp and have been readmitted into hospital due to baby being dehydrated and losing too much weight because she's not feeding/latching well. We have a feeding plan in place, I started pumping lots today and things are getting marginally better.
HOWEVER, due to having to pump and express a lot, I am now having insane uterine contractions (i.e. unbearable agony, the whole ward heard me screaming in pain). I need to keep feeding my baby breast milk but I cannot go through this pain anymore.
I am on morphine, codeine, paracetamol and ibuprofen and it's still agony.
I can supplement with formula and my partner has said he will do the next feed solely with formula so I can get some rest, but in the long run, she needs to get on the boob or take expressed milk as much as poss over the coming days if we want to breastfeed (and we do).

How can I manage this pain?
Help plz I'm desperate!

Struggling with heat

I live in a flat and struggling to keep it cool. I have all windows and curtains shut with fans and it does help a little. But my 9 week old girl just wants to be held 24/7 and when I try and put her down due to her sweating and heat rush she wakes back up again. I try and keep her in a nappy but she doesn’t like that for too long. So I just put a vest on but again only last for 10 mins. So have to but her in something else like a jump suit or at night a onesie. Anyone else struggling or is my little girl just weird as my little boy wasn’t as bad.
