Green Poo!

For the past week my baby, who is 10 weeks, has been having green poos with some mucus.

I EBF, and I called the GP last week who believes the mucus/green poo is due to teething as I have cut out all dairy from my diet.

I thought it could be teething too as my baby is dribbling lots and her gums are changing.

I’m now worried the green poos may be due to my milk supply where she might not be getting enough fatty milk. Her latch is perfect, she seems satisfied and unlatches by herself, my nipples don’t hurt when feeding and my boobs are soft. Her last yellow poo was about a week now.

Has anyone experienced the same/similar and have any tips?

Thanks

How long has it been since you cut dairy? Are you being super vigilant and reading all the ingredients to litttterally everything? (It’s always in the things you least expect😭) do you have much soy in your diet? That can cause the same symptoms too as the proteins are similar

Sleep regression?

Baby has started screaming at night everytime I put him down in his next to me and won’t stop unless I’m cuddling him. Is this the sleep regression? Anyone else experiencing it?

My little girl 🥺🥺

I'm fully convinced my girl has cmpa

If anyones children has it, please please could you tell me if this sounds like cmpa as I'm trying to build evidence for the doctors. She's 4 weeks old so they're struggling to find what it is due to an immature digestive system.

She struggles to poop. Like she will go bright red, you can see her trying to push with her little belly getting tense while she does it 🥺
When she poo has passed, it's very mucusy, very liquidy and has also had blood in it 3 times. (Told the doctors but she said it could just be the trauma from the bowl with pushing so much and so hard)

She spits up constantly, even after being winded. Sometimes projectile. Sometimes half digested spit up, chunky like cheese and sometimes fresh milk comes straight back up.

She's extremely gassy, very easy to wind after feeding. This little girl toots like no other baby.

Also, she's breastfed. Very occasionally given breast milk in a bottle but probably only 5 times since she was born.

I've cut all dairy from my diet for the past 3 days and I'm seeing an improvement in her skin already. No change in the nappies yet but hopefully soon! (I'm lactose intolerant but I'm addicted to cheese so suffering with the pain was worth it!😂)

Sorry for the long message. I had to deal with issues with lactose and having a sore belly my whole life. It's horrible and I don't want this for my little girl.
I'll do anything to make her comfortable again😭🥺

Water to infant?

We are currently having a horrible heat wave and my partners mum suggested we give my 3 month old water? Personally I don’t want to as I didn’t think they were supposed to at the age, but she insists only a little amount to “quench” his thirst. We combination feed but more breast than formula and I believe that breast milk has water in it? Correct me if I’m wrong. Anyways should i be giving him like a tea spoon of water for hydration, especially in 30 degree heat? Or is milk enough on its own?

Baby outgrowing moses basket.

My baby is very long and is nearly outgrown his moses basket where he naps in the day, where is everyone putting baby for naps in the day once they outgrow the basket? I was thinking the cot but I dont want to have to sit in the room while he naps..

Struggling with heat

I live in a flat and struggling to keep it cool. I have all windows and curtains shut with fans and it does help a little. But my 9 week old girl just wants to be held 24/7 and when I try and put her down due to her sweating and heat rush she wakes back up again. I try and keep her in a nappy but she doesn’t like that for too long. So I just put a vest on but again only last for 10 mins. So have to but her in something else like a jump suit or at night a onesie. Anyone else struggling or is my little girl just weird as my little boy wasn’t as bad.
