Newborn baby grows

How many newborn baby grows does everyone have? I only have 7 🫣 I’ve just realised while packing my hospital bag 🙈

They can get through several change of clothes a day, personally I like to have more than enough so I’m not constantly washing/ running out. Maybe 20?

I don’t have much clothes at all at the moment as I don’t know what I am having. I have got bare minimum white clothes then I will do a very quick online clothes shop order when baby is born 😅 xx

I need to count what I've bought lol i still have some in the loft that wasnt stained from my son but no idea how much of what 😅 I do remember having to do a couple outfit changes a day cause of spit ups and poonamis

I have 16 I’ve gone with having white ones for night I think I have 9 of them then 7 colourful ones for the day! x

I've got about 8/9?! But my baby is 98th percentile so I'm assuming newborn won't fit for long or at all anyway, got more in upto 1m😅

It’s difficult to know how many to have because you don’t really know how big your baby will be!!

I have none! Same reasons as above, no idea how big the baby will be so in no rush to spend on clothes that might not fit

No idea - I have some from first baby and then some hand-me-downs from friends so I reckon at least 15-20. One thing I would check is the actual physical size because there is such a range - some stuff that says 0-3 months is same size as newborn when you compare them. X

I need some advice on recovery post c-section and she will only sleep if placed on me or sometimes rarely my partner. I got no sleep last night and we tried everything so please send over some advice!!

Choosing delivery date

I am having a c section and my doctor has provided two delivery dates. One of them falls on my husbands bday. We are in disagreement bc he wants a shared bday with our daughter. I don’t want them to have the same bday bc I want her to have her own special date. Also future kids might be upset they don’t have a shared bday. Idk what to do. Any advice?

Induction!

Hey there!! Currently in hospital to get induced, been here since 1120am monday (22nd) I first had the pesserie insertion and after those 24h I dialated on the outside of cervix only by 1cm. So they then tried the dilapan rods insertions, they didnt use a speculum for that and it was the MOST uncomfortable thing ever! It litteraly pinched me or something! Idk what happened! It was that painful and uncomfortable that I burst out crying like I have never cried before! I hated it! So ive been given some time to think and i decided to try again but with Gas and Air, in the delivery suite to use the things to prop up my legs, and then the speculum too!! Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience?! Or what are your guys' experience with the same induction types!?

I’m finally 6 weeks postpartum today!

Today I am officially 6 weeks postpartum. I had a c section so it’s definitely been a long road. Anyone who’s had c sections before how do I go about having my first bath? My gp checkup isn’t for another 2 weeks but I’m desperate to have a bath and don’t want to wait if I don’t have to. Any advice?

Tampons after birth

I’m 5w5d postpartum, it’s hot ridiculously hot and these nappy pads ain’t the one. I want to wear underwear and a tampon like a human adult, but I’m still bleeding kinda like snot stringy blood… has anyone else experienced this and been okay?
