I'm a new mum to my beautiful rainbow baby . Just looking for advice on postpartum anxiety. I can not sleep or do anything as I am constantly worried that something bad is going to happen such as SIDS. Has anyone else had this experience and how did you manage.

I had this and to a degree probably still have it but I did have anxiety prior to pregnancy. SIDS was my trigger and so for the first few months I barely slept. Firstly, I think as my baby got older that jiggling voice did start to diminish( it does still come back). However, when I was in the trenches I made sure I followed Safe Sleep tools by Lullaby Trust without exception . If you ever need someone to talk to than feel free to message. As for the anxiety itself perhaps talking to your Health Visitor or the GP? I didn’t get much joy with mine but you may

Rainbow baby mom here 👋🏻 IMO nothing wrong with constantly checking on your baby or worrying! They call it anxiety when it’s natural. Every mom I’ve talked to said it never actually goes away. For example, my baby brother is 27yrs old and she still checks his location every night to make sure he made it home safely!
My daughter sleeps through the night and I still will stay up until 1 just in case she wakes up. She uses the Owlet sock and that’s helped a lot!
