Did you eat before your glucose test?

In my first pregnancy I did, I ate 2 or 3 boiled eggs. I was told that was ok then and I passed it. Now, my second pregnancy, I’m been told it’s supposed to be on an empty stomach.
I’m going to check again with my doctors office, just curious about y’all experience

Depends if it is a fasting glucose test or random. You can eat normally for a random but obviously have to fast (a good few hours but dont remember exactly) for fasting test

The gestational diabetes test I wasn't allowed to eat beforehand (from midnight)

The GD one 18 years ago, I didn’t have to fast. Last summer, I had to do another one, they said I didn’t have to for the 1 hour one, but if I end up needed to do the second one, I’d have to fast.

I wish I would have tasted because I was baaarely over the limit, and had to do the second one and the second one was horrible because I had to get pricked three frigging times.

Nothing fits, already!

Hi friends,
I’m new to this community and so excited to connect with mommas due in December!
So I’m 14 weeks and 3 days today (first pregnancy ended at 8-9 weeks), and almost none of my regular clothes fit me. I’m feeling frustrated because I’m technically not showing yet, but I’ve been super bloated my whole pregnancy. Anyone else in the same boat? How do you cope with the frustration? I know I’m creating life and that it’s a precious thing, but I’ve had a hard time accepting the changes with my body.

Gestational diabetes - anyone else have this test?

Freaking out so much about this test. It’s in August and I will literally be gutted if I have it.

Gallstones

Anyone else who has gotten gallstones after pregnancy have you had any issues with your chest? Like chest pains heart fluttering sand feeling like you’re gonna have a heart attack? Ever since I’ve gotten gallstones it’s literally taken over my life. I’m so afraid of being by myself. I cannot do anything and I have a huge fear that something bad is going to happen. Anyone else in the same boat? I’m so alone. My partner is always out the house with work and my family have their own lives going on so I’m just living in constant fear by myself

Not enjoying pregnancy

Is anyone else just not enjoying pregnancy? Everyone says it’s such a magical time but i really don’t like it. I feel so guilty for feeling this way but I just can’t wait for it to be over. I’m sure it’ll be worth it once my baby’s here but I’m just having a really miserable time :(

Reassurance

Everyone says the second baby is bigger. I was 7lbs 6 ounces and my sister was 9’6. My first baby was 9’2. Someone please give me hope that my second will not be massively bigger
