Because of how loud you’ll be, it’s a long journey, walls are thin already can hear everything now. (Not my situation, saw it elsewhere and never thought about this situation)

I think it depends on the situation, like if the hospital is far and you decide to plan for a home birth then I think it’s fine. I haven’t really thought of it tbh. I want to see what other people say

I don’t think it’s inconsiderate. I remember at my last apartment our upstairs neighbors had a home birth & it was clear what was occurring, I felt honored to bear witness even through sound.
What I personally found inconsiderate was them buying a rocking chair postpartum and placing it directly above where my bed was 😵💫😭🤣🤣🤣

Possibly unpopular opinion but It would put me off doing it to be honest, especially with how long labour can go on for, I couldn't imagine living next door/above/below and potentially hearing it all day/night

If you want it then you go for it!

Giving birth in your own home is not being inconsiderate.
You've really got to be a prick to be annoyed at that.
