Is anyone scheduled to do the non stress test? I am so confused on why im doing it because im not a high risk pregnancy and my bp has been good the entire pregnancy. Im only 29 years old and its my first pregnancy.

It’s just a monitor to make sure the baby is healthy and moving around the right amount. Completely non-invasive and doesn’t bother the baby.

Same and I’ve been scheduled to do the NST every week starting at 37 weeks. I just figured it was routine practice 🤷🏼♀️ I’m a FTM

I lived in AZ for my first pregnancy and even though I was high risk due to being over 35 yrs old it was just standard practice I was told to do NSTs. My last 3-4 weeks I had a NST one day and saw my doctor another. I didnt mind the NSTs bc they were relaxing and usually I just did them after work.

Is baby measuring slightly behind? Might just be standard where you are, but might be worth asking why they want it done. 😊
I had a high risk pregnancy due to IUGR/other anomalies with baby and had to do NSTs twice a week starting at 25 weeks. Very easy to do and if baby is non reactive they just monitor you longer or do a biophysical profile. I was a regular at the NST clinic and L&D across the road lol

I only had one with my first pregnancy when I went over due. I’ve never heard of them doing them for no reason so I’d ask the why

Okay so I'm 3X c section ,over weight pre pregnancy and im considered HR so now at 35 weeks I get weekly NST and a test to make sure baby growth every week. Its crazy how much they do.
