Any tips and tricks to get the little to start walking? He can walk assisted, stand on his own, loves to stand and bounce. But hesitant on taking that first step!

Have a person stand a couple steps away from him and then stand him up. Have the other person call him and see if he will step to them. My little guy was the same way except he was standing on his own without help and squatting down and picking up stuff...once his dad was home and we went to the doctor I asked him go to the other side of the room and call him to see if he will come to you, sure enough his first steps were to his daddy in the doctor's office!! We ended up doing these exercises so he grew more confident now he runs and walks everywhere!! Lol

Let them cruise! My girl took her first steps a few weeks ago but she was cruising around the couch, her crib, my bed, etc... she built up confidence and strength walking from one side of the couch to the other and now she walks independently.

my son is 14m and i can't get him to walk, he just got the hang of crawling on his birthday and i've decided theres nothing i can do but wait😅

My daughter is already walking around independently whenever she wants and it's a whole game changer. No walking assistant toys. A push walker is all that we have that she enjoys from time to time. All kids will reach their milestones when they're ready. My son didn't take any independent steps till 14½ months old but started cruising at 7 months old.

Building core strength and confidence during standing instead of focusing on steps helped us. Holding up toys to grab/put in a container etc. while they are standing in front of a stable item (couch etc.)
