Daughter was in bed with me last night as she is teething. Her owlet sock sounded the critical alarm at 3:30 in the morning. I panicked and grabbed my daughter but she was completely fine and started giggling. When I checked the app this morning it showed that I had an alert but when I looked at her stats for 3:30 in the morning it doesn’t even show a drop in oxygen. Has anyone ever got false critical alarms? Should I go to the GP to have her checked?

When I was researching owlet’s this came up a lot and seemed quite common so I chose not to get one for this reason as it would have caused more anxiety for me than it solved. The general consensus seemed to be better to alarm falsely and nothing be wrong than there be something wrong and it not sound x

If she seems happy in herself and no signs of illness I would just keep an eye for now. Have you had a look on the session? Run across the oxygen and the pulse rate to see if any spiked. X

You should be able to see what was the cause of the alert on the history at the top right.
It will say if it was oxygen or heart beat readings. If heart beat and under 50bpm then it’s a wifi connection issue
