C section scar
I’m getting intense burning, stinging sensations on the right side of my scar. It’s not open or oozing, looks fine visually and red as expected but the pain is so intense it comes in waves. Mainly once I’m up walking, I sit down and the pain eases after some time but the stinging is so intense! Is anyone else getting this? I’m 7 days post birth, I had a planned section, the same as with our first and I don’t remember this pain?! Is it nerves?

I had a c section and 7 days postpartum I had the same, pretty sure its where I was up and doing a bit too much, sitting also stopped the stinging for me. my boy is now three weeks and has a knack for kicking and kneeing me in the scar which causes stinging for a few minutes but if he does it too much it hurts for a few hours. I don't know if id describe any of it as intense but it definitely did burn and sting for me
I was told that the stinging can also be just healing
As long as it looks ok I imagine it’s part of the healing process MAC can help with questions about scars even if you’re discharged from the midwife or want peace of mind and it checking.
I say this as someone who’s scar didn’t look visually fine called MAC and went in and it’s currently infected. 🫣😂
