Hey ladies, in need of some experience / advice:
My little girl, nearly 11 months doesn’t crawl, cannot pull self to standing, cruise or walk unaided and on her 1 year check is in the concern section for this.
Upon measurements they also questioned why my little girl sits slouched? Or the only way I could describe it was like a monkey ha?
They’re referring my little lady to a community children’s paediatrics team and given me a physio number … question is: has anyone else been in the same position? What happened? What support was given? Did your child meet these milestones?
My little girls legs are fine, she’s a late roller but has exceeded other areas on the 1 year check.
And please, before anyone comments ‘babies develop at different rates’ yes I do understand this as an early years worker myself, but being my first and only baby… I still worry and would like support if any ❤️🥹

My friends baby didnt do any of it until a lot later. Think she was 19 months when she walked. You wouldnt know now. Theyre just as confident as the rest of them. She refused to sit, crawl, stand etc. A little boy on our estate wouldnt walk and was referred to hospital at i think 23 months. He is walking now :)

I hqd my first child and she was clearly behing in speech at 2, compared to her peers. So slightly different but you cant help but worry. I sort out early intervention and speech therapy because if she needed it, I was starting early and getting her help. If she didnt need help then I would be reassured that she was okay.
I would look at it as a win/win in getting some help as even if all babies develop at different rates you are intervening early if she does need help. Xx
