Breast & Formula Feeding

Is there anyone on here breast & formula feeding? As I’m looking for some guidance.

We tried exclusively breastfeeding but little one struggles with latch and I don’t think my supply is enough as she’s still hungry after feeding🙄So we are mostly formula feeding with a bottle of breast milk before bed. But I’d like to introduce more breast milk but don’t know where and how to start. And if what I’m experiencing is normal, because of the latching issues I wouldn’t be able to breastfeed in public so it would be mostly formula (however I do have a cool bottle coming soon) it’s taking it’s taking its time to come.

For context my little girl is 2 months old on the 5th.

I decided exclusively pump as baby was jaundiced and sleepy at the start. I only latch her in in the evening. Otherwise I pump every 3h during the day and every 4h during the night.
My baby was always hungry after breastfeeding so decided to pump more. Now I know exactly how much expressed breastmilk she’s getting and if still hungry I offer formula as a top up. It’s a lot of hard work to exclusively pump, but it’s only temporary, and for me, worth the sacrifice .

I had the same problem and decided to exclusively pump. It has worked out a lot better for us. I pump every 2.5 hours in the day and around 3 to 4 hours at night. At the beginning we gave lots of formula but I have been building up supply and my baby is now getting around 80% breast milk and 20% formula.

Do you think there’s a difference in giving store puree & making your own?

I use shop bought, the ingredients are organic and 100% the fruit/veg. It’s so cheap & convenient

Struggling with 2 kids

I’m absolutely desperate for some advice because I’m on the verge of a breakdown almost every day.

I have a 3 (almost 4) year old boy and an 11 month old girl. All they do is scream at each other all day.

My boy hates the fact that she wants to play with everything and my girl hates the fact that he’s always taking toys away from her. He’s always pushing her over and screaming at her and then she starts screaming because she’s upset.

It’s not fair to keep her contained in her high chair or jumperoo because she’s upset wants to crawl and is trying to walk. My boy doesn’t want to play in his room.

I only have the living room downstairs available to play in and it’s not big enough for a playpen, plus it would restrict her so much.

Can anyone help with how I can stop all this fighting between them?

They each have their own toys and separate sections in their toy box. Even if I take them out my little girl screams because she just wants to crawl around and not be in her pram.

I’m sorry this isn’t explained very well but I’m just so frustrated today and can’t take it anymore

Muslin cloth on pram

How do mums attach a muslin cloth to the pram to protect baby from sun? Any other ideas how to protect baby from sun when they’re in their pram? I’m currently using the car seat attachment on the pushchair so she’s always in the car seat
