My baby has fluid on one of their kidneys, I have to drive 3 hours for a specialized ultrasound because my regular hospital doesn't have the equipment. My Dr said it's probably nothing to worry about but that it's still concerning enough that they want to check all the boxes before making any decisions. I'm 31 weeks 2 days. I don't want to worry about nothing but I'm 19 and this is my first. I don't really have anyone to ask. Thank you!

Listen to your dr- it's probably no big deal they just want to be absolutely sure. I'm sorry things are scary, I hope everything works out as easily as possible.

I always think the absolute worst when things like that happen. The doctors just have to make sure everything’s good with baby, because if not they make the informed decision to induce earlier than 40 weeks when things show up. If the dr isn’t worried I think baby will be okay and they just want to make sure before getting closer to due date
