Clueless

I am totally clueless. I have zero support. I honestly so not know what I am doing anymore. I have contacted my local feeding team, zero response. My LG is breastfed and I want to stop. She's never taken a bottle. So trying to introduce cow's milk through a free flow or straw cup. She eats food well. But I am starting to second guess my choices of snacks etc for her. I am honestly at my wits end. If my mum were alive, I wouldn't be in this situation. But sadly, that is not the case.

I feel like I am feeding her the same things. I struggle to cook as she is a handful, my husband works 12+ hours a day and so all the housework etc is on me.

Our car has just been written off and so we have no money, as we had to buy the first available car we could (it's fully MOT'd until Feb). But it's screwed us for the month. It just seems that it's all going wrong and getting too much.

I'm drowning over here. And no one seems to have a life raft.

Have you contacted your health visitor for advice re feeding/stopping BF and introducing cows milk? They have lots of resources available

So sorry to hear you’re going through a tough time! I’ve had many car issues and times where they have left us with nothing, still have one currently that’s broken, they’re always a nightmare for me!
As for your little one, as long as she is feeling then she is perfectly fine! I go through patches of same snacks and meals but a full belly is a happy one! As for stopping breastfeeding I just completely stopped and she now drinks cows milk through a sippy cup so keep doing that and stop the BF as best you can!
As for housework and cooking, I have 2 and my partner is at work so falls on me too, I’m always drowning in things to do, once I clean up it’s messy again. Just try set yourself small tasks and if you can’t do it, they try again when you can.

You’re doing the best you can and that’s all your daughter needs from you. Having samey meals and a bit of mess here and there won’t bother her! Wish you the best !
