Looking for some reassurance from other moms. 🤍
I’m 37 weeks pregnant and was recently told I have high amniotic fluid (polyhydramnios). I’m being monitored closely, but I’d love to hear from anyone who went through something similar.
Did you go on to have a healthy pregnancy and a normal vaginal delivery without any major complications? Did your fluid levels stay high or improve? Any positive stories or advice would really mean a lot right now. 💙

I didn't find out i had polyhydroaminos until 39w2d. I finally was diagnosed with GD around 37 weeks after doing daily glucose checks. Polyhydroaminos goes hand in hand with GD.
I passed out at work and went in and they couldn't find anything wrong bloodwork or monitoring wise. My LO had been somehow flipping back and forth between breech and head down starting at 35 weeks. While i was in the hospital I felt her flip back to breech. They were about to discharge me and I was like can you please check her positioning. They did and she was breech again! And thats when they found the polyhydroaminos. The bright side to the PHA is that they were able to do a successful ECV a few hours later. They put a stomach binder on me to keep her from flipping again, broke my water, and induced me. I had my second VBAC 14 hours later! My GD was diet controlled, but out of control blood sugar can add to the issues.
