Hey guys! My 14 month old is still not talking yet. Do you guys have any advice on how to get him to start talking ??

Just keep reading and talking to them. Theyll get it. Also dont panic over it. My eldest is 3 and half and is partly non verbal. My 2 year old copies him

No need to worry, hes still a bubba. Just talk about everything you are doing, what you can see on walks, point and name things.

My son started speech therapy when he was 2, so if his speech doesn’t improve over the next year, I’d definitely look into it. From what I’ve read, around 14 months babies are usually saying or repeating 1–3 simple words like “mama,” “dada,” or “baba”—nothing too advanced. At his well visits, the pediatrician should also be asking how many words he’s saying and keeping an eye on his speech milestones.
If he does end up falling behind, I highly recommend speech therapy. Around 21 months, my son started getting frustrated because he couldn’t communicate what he wanted. He would even hit other kids at daycare because he couldn’t find the words to express himself.

Reading and just talking. When you’re doing something say what you are doing. “Mommy is making ____” also, whenever he does say something repeat it back to him. Label everything, repetition is so important for their little minds! My son is 21 months and just in the last like 3-4 weeks his vocabulary has went from very limited to none stop talking that makes sense!

Pram help?

I have the puggle urban double pram as have 2 under 2. Youngest is 12 weeks & absolutely HATES the bassinet as she likes to look around lol. She also doesnt look like she'll fit in it much longer as shes had a growth spurt. I know she can't sit up yet but is there such thing as an inbetween bassinet and normal seat?? Or can i use anything to prop her up so she can see abit better?

Can anyone recommend any suggestions?

Mums who have been through all the baby stages

Which stage did you find yourself wishing away the most? Not necessarily which was the hardest bc for example a certain stage might be hard but also really rewarding which counteracts the hard bits. Which stage was overall your least favourite? Please let me know all the details in the comments 🙏 What was hard, what was good?

Inconsolable crying

We had our baby on 1st July at 39 weeks via csection because she was breech.

At 6.8lbs she’s healthy and has been doing well.

I’m trying to breast feed which is generally going alright, though she doesn’t have a great latch. I have a lactation consultant coming Monday.
Yesterday she would give feeding queues and then not latch, so feeds were harder.

At night she was inconsolably crying from about 12:30 am until about 4:30 am. I’d changed her nappy, her clothes for comfort, I tried feeding, we rocked and bobbed, walked around, skin to skin, shushed and sang, checked her temperature and just had no luck.

It’s horrible to see her get so upset and worked up, when I know she’s too young to get colic too. Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar experiences? I’d hate to miss a sign something is wrong.
