When does it get easier!!!

Parents of older children, what age did you find life got easier? My toddler is 2 and 1/2, everything seems like a fight, getting dressed, brushing teeth, eating dinner, leaving anywhere like the park, tantrums are constant!! It’s honestly exhausting and getting me down. What age did people find everything just gets a bit easier???? I know there is an end in sight but just curious when 🙈

What you thought was hard gets easier. Then there’s other things that replace that. However, IMO you get more and more chilled the more you get tested haha.

School age is defo more of a breather!! Just because they understand everything and become less radge in general. My daughter is 14 soon to be 15 and she’s always been a dream but she did grow up in a house full of kids all her life and they school each other well lol.

Pram help?

I have the puggle urban double pram as have 2 under 2. Youngest is 12 weeks & absolutely HATES the bassinet as she likes to look around lol. She also doesnt look like she'll fit in it much longer as shes had a growth spurt. I know she can't sit up yet but is there such thing as an inbetween bassinet and normal seat?? Or can i use anything to prop her up so she can see abit better?

Can anyone recommend any suggestions?

Mums who have been through all the baby stages

Which stage did you find yourself wishing away the most? Not necessarily which was the hardest bc for example a certain stage might be hard but also really rewarding which counteracts the hard bits. Which stage was overall your least favourite? Please let me know all the details in the comments 🙏 What was hard, what was good?

Inconsolable crying

We had our baby on 1st July at 39 weeks via csection because she was breech.

At 6.8lbs she’s healthy and has been doing well.

I’m trying to breast feed which is generally going alright, though she doesn’t have a great latch. I have a lactation consultant coming Monday.
Yesterday she would give feeding queues and then not latch, so feeds were harder.

At night she was inconsolably crying from about 12:30 am until about 4:30 am. I’d changed her nappy, her clothes for comfort, I tried feeding, we rocked and bobbed, walked around, skin to skin, shushed and sang, checked her temperature and just had no luck.

It’s horrible to see her get so upset and worked up, when I know she’s too young to get colic too. Just wondering if anyone else has had any similar experiences? I’d hate to miss a sign something is wrong.
