Cloth diapers trouble

Hi, I need help. My baby girl is 9 weeks. We were using Kudos diapers and they gave her diaper rash. We have cloth diapers and wanted to give it a try. Last night I had her in 1 that only has 4 snaps in the front and she was swimming in it. She peed through the shell this morning so I put another one on her with 2 inserts, one is sewn in the the inside of the shell and the other I just laid on top. We have a few of these type but they are so big and bulky on her. She is only 7lbs. Is there a way to still use these now? She has a disposable on because she was histerical i didn't want to make her wait while we figure it out. This one too has an insert in the pocket and she is sitting on one. Is that too many? She doesn't poop often but pees. I don't want her to have a leak but these seem huge. I snapped the rise buttons top and bottom together and pulled the wings out but they still seem huge. She slips out of them a little. Idk what to do. I have all these cloth diapers I would prefer to use but idk if she is still too tiny. Thank you in advance.

Can’t stop falling asleep

I keep on falling asleep with my baby in my arms while feeding. He’s only a month old and I share a bed with my partner and loads of pillows. Bed sharing seems the obvious solution but I thrash in my sleep. Today I woke up to my baby in my arms and realised I had them there for maybe an hour. So scary! He’s slipped before in my arms and luckily I woke up to move him . My partner says I NEED to change this as it’s only a matter of time before something terrible happens and I agree.

I have talked to Midwives at my appointments and their advice does not help. I just blank out. What should I do?

My daughter won’t let me change her nappy

She’s almost 2 and it’s only at the house, when we’re out she lets me take her the changing room fine but at home she gets so angry and thrashes around. Shes started to wriggle away from me mid 💩 change and then sits on the floor so it goes everywhere. I feel like I’ve tried absolutely everything. I’ve tried changing her exclusively on the changing table so she gets the message that it’s time for a clean nappy. I’ve tried keeping it casual and just popping her down on the floor or on the sofa. I let her hold toys, give her a wipe. We’ve tried pull up and she’s does exactly the same but just stood up.

I’ve even tried introducing a potty but she just doesn’t get it yet at all.

I can’t work it out why she hates it so much. She’s definitely not in any pain or discomfort. I’m praying this is just a phase. Help please 🙏

Postpartum resentment towards family and friends

I’m a FTM and well over a year postpartum but I still struggle to this day letting go of resentment I built PP toward family members and friends. I went through a very difficult PP those first at least 5 months and when I needed support most, my brain was paying very close attention to who showed up and who didn’t. I was drowning and calling out for help, everyone knew how much I was struggling yet no one showed up for me or they only did once. I’m new to the UK so I have very little friends here(if any) and the only family I have is my husbands. I’ve recently found out some of these said friends/family members that didn’t ever help me are having their first babies and I’m expected by them and others around us to help with the baby and the mum specially during PP. I just cannot bring myself to help them knowing they never helped me(not even texted me to make sure I was ok) when I needed it. Any kind friendly advice to let go of the resentment I’ve held in my heart towards these people since I gave birth? Any one else experienced this?

Napping routine at 15 weeks?

Hey everyone, my baby is now 15 weeks. Interested to know where everyone else is at re naps and routines? My baby is fairly good at going to sleep at night - we have a loose routine that seems to be working well. However during the day it’s still a bit unstructured - he does a lot of contact napping and uses the boob to get to sleep. Starting to think about trying a slightly more fixed routine, so interested to know if anyone is already doing this, to get a sense as to whether or not 15 weeks is too early etc. Thanks all!

How often does your baby cry?

I know babies cry but I don’t know what’s a normal amount. My first LG cried 24/7 with colic and this time round my LG cries a few hours a day. I don’t know what’s wrong with her if she’s fed, changed, burped and slept she will sometimes be really upset and then randomly other times she will be really settled.
She had her tongue tie done a week ago as I thought she was previously struggling with trapped gas (it has improved loads), but I don’t know if there is something else I’m missing or if this is just normal for babies not to be content when they’re awake?

When did your baby first start crawling?

I’m a first time mum, don’t get me wrong, understand that all babies are different, but I would just like some reassurance.
My baby is 8 months old, we’ve had no interest in crawling, pulling self up, walking along furniture or going from tummy to sitting or vice versa.
I’m in a group with other babies the same age, and everyone’s babies seem to be doing all these things…
I wasn’t worried until I read what other babies were doing at this age, and it seems like a lot compared to what my baba can do.
I just don’t want to fail her. Please let me know if your baby was “late” or took a while to reach milestones.
Thanks in advance xx
