Napping routine at 15 weeks?

Hey everyone, my baby is now 15 weeks. Interested to know where everyone else is at re naps and routines? My baby is fairly good at going to sleep at night - we have a loose routine that seems to be working well. However during the day it’s still a bit unstructured - he does a lot of contact napping and uses the boob to get to sleep. Starting to think about trying a slightly more fixed routine, so interested to know if anyone is already doing this, to get a sense as to whether or not 15 weeks is too early etc. Thanks all!

I've never tried to get a fixed routine, just followed his cues and let him sleep when needed.

I’m the same way! Lots of contact naps and using the boob to sleep lol my little girl sleeps well at night but lately the naps are short. She’s 14 weeks x

I exclusively BF and the past week tried something new to get her to sleep and works every time so far! Hold her in a cradle position whilst bouncing on my pregnancy yoga ball and she’s asleep in sometimes as quick as 5 mins! I was pretty much feeding to sleep before this but wanted to try break that and this works really well. Can’t just put her down to sleep that takes training and they are still little, she also sleeps good at night but day naps get found harder but I’m making sure I’m using that method and not going past two hours at the moment and seems to be a game changer. Out and about harder cos she’s such fomo baby but she will sleep in the car and I get nap trapped there sometimes ha! It’s mainly contact naps in the day but she can be put down sometimes but naps don’t last as long- it’s my next task to handle but I’m taking her actually napping in the day atm because she use to be awful at day naps x

Diaper change at night

How’s everyone fitting in diaper changes with nighttime feeds? At first I would change him and then he’d eat, but then I switched to feeding him on one breast changing him and then feeding him on the other breast. He gets hiccups occasionally, so I worry that laying him down in between breast isn’t the best option & wondering if I should go back to changing him before he eats??

Am I overreacting with my two year old?

Problems I’m experiencing with my two year old. (He will be 3 in August)

- Doesn’t listen unless I threaten to spank him or yell or scream

- Super hyperactive but will focus on something completely weird and dumb for 40 minutes straight. Like for an example, we went to a firework show and he wouldn’t sit still the entire time we were waiting for the fireworks to start but then he randomly started playing with the seatbelt in his stroller for 20-30 minutes straight and wouldn’t budge even when we called his name or tried to get his attention.

- He’s scared of water being on his face and head. I mean extremely scared like he will scream bloody murder and fight horribly.

- He refuses to use the potty consistently. He has days where he’s interested and sometimes will be okay with peeing in the potty but then he’ll go weeks and months not wanting anything to do with it no matter how much we try to encourage him.

- Whenever he gets mad or upset or whatever, he’ll cover his ears with his hands.

Should I get him checked for autism or adhd? His father has extreme adhd.

Self soothe

Anyone’s 4 month old self soothe? Feeling a lot of pressure online regarding self soothing but my LO is still rocked to sleep. Please tell me I’m not alone? I’ve tried self soothing but he’s currently going through the regression and teething and it’s a battle I don’t need right now!

I'm already noticed with my 3month old that the shorts in the girls section are much shorter than the boys.

Is that not weird? Not diaper covers. Actual shorts.

Help!

We have a co sleeping, breastfeeding and heavily reliant on it (😬🙃) 11 month old, but I’m pregnant again!
Any advice from other co sleeping families on how to tackle a newborn and a toddler during the night? Not sure what to do!
Currently in a kingsize floor bed with a cot mattress at the side, and there’s me, baby and husband.

Is it time for toddler to go into her own room, and how do you do that if they rely on 3+ feeds a night
Could toddler go on husbands side?
Will newborn wake toddler?
Not sure what’s best for us
