We bought some second hand off fb marketplace, it worked out around the same cost as hiring a slightly larger set!

Too emotional

I’ve been crying since about 3 this morning it’s now 5:50 because my little girl won’t go to sleep. She woke up and just won’t settle and it’s really getting to me. I’m getting so overwhelmed with her fussing and crying and the fact she won’t settle. She’s 10 months today and I’m honestly loosing the plot, I just feel like I’m failing and I’m getting so stressed and exhausted.

It’s almost time

Ive been counting down the days to stop breast feeding my daughter. Her dad and I agreed at 18 months. Shes 17 months now. I’m excited but Im also not sure if I’m mentally ready to stop. Idk. I’m feeling mixed emotions about this journey. I need pointers bc putting her on the boob is literally the only way I put her to bed. Like let me have one night so I can sleep on my stomach pls lol

Can we use dummies overnight to settle fussy baby?

Our baby is 4 weeks old and just won’t settle for sleep. We have tried everything in the books and we’re pretty frayed and desperate. What is the current thinking on using dummies? Can we use it for the overnights and not interfere with his feeding? We are exclusively breast feeding otherwise and he is feeding well. The only thing I’ve seen about dummies was a pamphlet about how to stop using them which implied we shouldn’t start…

Sleep

My 3 month old discovered rolling today. All she wants to do now is roll. Which is fantastic. However she now wants to sleep either on her side or on her front. Ive just done a night feed, ive placed her back into her next to me crib on her back and she has immediately rolled to her front. How can i sleep without panicking? Shes got her head faced to the side so her nose and mouth is not blocked. Im just so worried. Any advice welcome :)

Listen to your babies nurse/doctor

Please listen to your babies nurse/doctor when they tell you to wash your hand after every nappy change after they've had the rotavirus vaccine because ohh boy I have been stuck on the toilet most of the night 🤢🚽😅
