I am almost 9 weeks pregnant with my second and I have been strugglinggg with low BP in the mornings and dizziness all throughout the day
The mornings are the worst. This morning I got up and could hardly make it to the dog to take her out. I laid down and checked and it was 97/54. That isn’t horribly low but it makes me feel so awful. I also have suspicions I am anemic due to me already being borderline before pregnancy. What can I do to help??

i went through the same thing girl people say sugar helps but i couldn’t stand sugar in my first trimester but salty foods definitely helped me and electrolytes i swear by! we always make sure to have liquid iv in the house for me because i used to always almost pass out in the shower and its a lifesaver! idk if you eat beef but i never did pre pregnancy and my baby has me craving burgers! i’m now 30 weeks tmrw and my blood pressure is normal but i am anemic so they’re making me take iron supplements on top of my prenatals. i just take nature made 65mg iron supplements every other day with a colace stool softener now. i had anemia on my health records the whole time but they don’t test or try to fix it until your glucose test so i recommend starting that now!

Heyy I went through the same. I was actually fired from my job during my first trimester because I fainted due to my low BP. My BP was even 79/50. You need to always have salty chips by your side and electrolyte drinks will become your best friend. Wear some compression socks (I didn’t because I hated the feeling of it) but it does help. A lot of water and the electrolytes can be pedialyte, electrolyte, or even liquid IV and dissolve it in water. Make sure to not do anything strenuous or make you stressed out either because it will take a toll on you. As for anemia tell your provider and they can check CBC which will include Hemoglobin levels and you can ask for ferritin test as well. I also wasn’t anemic per day but I had iron deficiency anemia and had to do some iron infusions to get it up. You can naturally get some peanuts, nuts, steaks, asparagus, spinach and beets. Beets are amazing for this
