Severely traumatic first c section, now may have to have another one 😭

Help 😭😭 my first C-section was dreadful, the midwife ruined the entire experience (emergency one, stuck in birth canal and midwife didn't listen, took the piss out of me) I'm so scared of having another one but waters broke early, have signs of an infection and they may have to deliver her early (33 weeks currently)
I'm so terrified, any advice to cope? I'll have hubby with me but still, the panic and everything 😭😭

I’ve not had 2 c sections but I did have an emergency c section at 32 weeks. If you need a chat feel free to message πŸ™‚

You will be absolutely fine, keep a positive headspace and try to relax.
I had a planned section and it is different when it’s not an emergency it’s more calming. You will be fine and go into this positive it will help you x

Judgement about elected C-section

Has anyone else experienced this? I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant with my second and have chosen to have an elected C-section.

I had a really traumatic vaginal birth with my first (pretty sure my husband has PTSD from it) and a couple of years after that I had a stem cell transplant for a rare blood disease. I have been told I don't medically need one but my midwife is very supportive and says I can basically have the birth I want.

Everyone I tell this to though just keeps asking why, if you don't need one then why and then bringing up the current UK C-section statistics. It's driving me mad and I feel so judged.

Question…

Is naming a baby Amber cruel given she might come out with a shade of ginger hair? My son is strawberry blonde like I was as a child and mine darkened to auburn.

It’s our top pick but someone said this to me and I can’t shake it!

20 week scan

I’ve just had my 20 week scan was in there for over an hour and have had another scan rearranged for 2 weeks as there were parts of baby he couldn’t see. However he could see his tummy which was measuring 23w5 days when I’m 20w 1day. He said this might mean I have gestational diabetes. Has anyone else who got diagnosed with g diabetes been told baby’s belly was big at 20 week scan?

Anyone else????

My waters broke at 31 weeks, I'm currently 33 weeks. Fluid level around baby is ok and measuring fine. Today I have had like lightening crotch? Sharp pain at the bottom of stomach going inside vagina and bottom, every 10/20 minutes or so only lasting a few seconds to maybe 10 seconds for most of the day (since about 11am)

Is this normal???

Hi nice to meet you

Just wanted to say hi. I'm Hannah. I had my daughter in September. She was two months premature. But she's very happy and healthy. That's all I can ask for.
