Political names??

I’m seriously considering the name Reagan for our daughter but have gotten feedback that people will associate her name with Ronald Reagan 😂 I also coincidentally love the name Kennedy but me liking these names has nothing at all to do with politics. I first heard Reagan for a girl in The Exorcist YEARS ago and thought it sounded pretty cool. It’s also tied to Shakespeare’s writing. Would it be weird to use? I’m in the US for context.

I agree that it’s objectively a pretty name but the problem is that her peers with the same name were likely named with politics in mind. If you’re cool being lumped in with that crowd, then go for it. If not, maybe play with the spelling? Like swapping the “ea” to “ae” (Raegen)

I don’t hear Reagan and immediately think of the devil, (the president or the exorcist Lmfaoo)

I do think of the president when I hear “Woodrow” & I do think of the volleyball when I hear “Wilson” 🤣

Cute their last names also and I don't really think of them as political only now that you've mentioned it...
Either way cute names

Maybe the older generation might think of the president first, but I don't (I'm 34). I've known quite a few girls named Reagan/Raegan/Regan.

Blood thinner injection

Hi, those who had to take blood thinners after c-section, did you just stop after the set amount of time you were told to take them or did you wait until you saw GP at 6 week check up?

First trimester fatigue

Currently in the trenches of first semester fatigue.

I have no energy for anything and going to bed at like 8pm…

Just wondering when I’ll look forward again to having sex with my husband?!?! When does the tiredness fade girlies.

TIA X

Baby name responses

I've picked my baby name, and when I've told a few people, their reaction has been a bit flat. My MIL was even bold enough to tell me no, and that I should call him something beginning with J, like all his cousins.

Does anyone else get an irrational rage when people disagree about their chosen name? He's my baby... I'll do what I want!!!

Anyone else's baby decide to come so fast the med team diddnt believe you at first? 😅

I had a great delivery team for sure, but I was a first time delivery, I had an induction, and I had an epidural, so they told me over and over we would be there for a while. 20 min after my epidural kicked in I felt the most intense pressure of my life and I pressed the call button. The nurse strolled in while I was yelling at my husband to get down there to catch our baby himself! Within 2 min the room was packed and the nurse was yelling for someone to run to get the Dr there faster while she was getting ready to catch. Dr barely got his gloves on in time to make the catch 😂 a nurse even had the audacity to tell me not to push like I had a say in the matter 🤣

Crazy enough, my mom has nearly the exact same birth story when she delivered me!
