What’s a stupid/minor thing you’ve been given a verbal warning or written up for a work?

I’ll go first… I had a Gatorade bottle on the counter. We can’t have anything with a label or logo and i wasn’t informed before I starting work there besides being told Starbucks and Tim Hortons we can’t have..

I accepted a $5 tip a week before Christmas, we weren't allowed to take tips, I didn't know 😑

I used to work at a Lush store and their whole thing is that you basically need to harass every guest who comes in and well, I left someone alone who didn’t want to be bothered 🤣

I asked for help while changing a child after swimming. I had never worked with that child before whom had behaviours & she was trying to pull her feeding tube out :)
I got called lazy
Should I have let her pull the tube out or ask for help?

not me but I know someone who got fired for taking too many water bottles on their breaks from HEB

I had an early shift like 5 am I
I'd get there on time and start working...I was written up for not being 10 min early. Wasn't ever told I had to be 10 min early. I'm not a morning person. Wasn't late. Just not that early....
I've also been written up for not having my shirt tucked in . . .

1. Got written up when I worked security at a hospital because the supervisor sent me by myself to restrain a male to a restraining bed. I ended up getting injured and my supervisor said that it's because I didn't do it right.... I am 5'2 and was 120lbs at the time...

2. Got a verbal warning when I worked mall security because we dealt with a mouthy 12 year old who attacked us, so I put my phone in my vest to record him for proof and accidentally said under my breath "fuck you too" when he told me to fuck off (he didn't hear me, I just forgot I was recording). The next day he robbed a Dollar store by knife point

Oh and it wasn't me, but at my last job before I became a SAHM... An employee was given a verbal warning because they carried coffee in from a restaurant that wasn't partnered with our company... So if we brought in a Tim Hortons cup, Subway cup etc etc and a higher up saw it, we would get into trouble and told we need to hide it because we only drink coffee from our sponsors

For needing extra dr appointments during my high risk pregnancy. They also cut my hours to 5 per week so I had to quit so I wouldnt be able to collect unemployment

I was written up because I texted that I was going to be late.... mind you I clocked in on time that day..... THEN we had a meeting and they stated we needed to text if we would be late. Wtf?

Not written up but I got “in trouble” for reporting a coworker for sexual harassment. HR said the employee had worked there for years and no one ever complained and since I was new, I must’ve been the problem. My “punishment” was not being able to work from the office and I had to wfh until he felt comfortable with me coming back 😀

My dress fit my body type differently then the other skinny girls wearing the same dress so I had to go buy an outfit to continue work - at a call center on a Saturday - where no customers come to the building - you sit at your own desk and work lol. Felt like Christian school all over again.

While pregnant I thought about what I would like to do for the baby's birthday and Christmas, I came from a background where money was tight and these days we got something special. So I remember presents from these days because it was such a special gift. I have seen an idea for a baby's birthday and Christmas which I like to do myself, I think partner is with me because we don't want to go mental on these days, I had people at work that just blew it and how much is actually getting used. A Christmas I had a stocking, a main present and few bits and that was enough, for my birthday it was a main present and few bits. Relationship change

Does anyone else feel like they’ve lost their best friend (partner) things aren’t the same of course but I miss him even though he’s there.
