Anxiety

I’ve been excited and felt ready to meet my baby the past few weeks but as my due date approaches (currently 39+1) I all of a sudden feel extremely anxious about giving birth and having a baby. Anyone else? Is this normal?

Is this your first baby?
My baby is 2 weeks old today, I had him via planned c section at 39+1 and my whole pregnancy I was anxious and worried about becoming a mum, nervous about c section recovery and whether I’d be able to do what I need to do to care for a new born. Whilst I was excited for this new chapter it was definitely shaded by all the anxiety and worry.
As soon as I met my baby all of these worries went away, he is the best little miracle and I’ve spent 2 weeks now feeling guilty that I spent my whole pregnancy worrying about how this whole mum thing would go!!

So what I will say is I guess this is completely normal feelings to be having. It’s such a huge life change and I don’t think anything can ever prepare you for it. But if I can give you any advice it would be please don’t worry, you’ve got this and as soon as you meet your little one I’m sure you will wonder what you were ever worried about! (Hopefully anyway)
Good luck with your delivery!
Sending lots of love xxxx

Due JULY 11th

Just wanted to connect! I’m due TOMORROW but he’s so snug in my belly I think he’ll have a late arrival. Anyone else due this weekend? How are you feeling!?

37 weeks tomorrow 🤰

Cramping sooo bad... I’ve already had 2 false alarms in the past 3 weeks for contractions lasting longer than an hour. I just have a really weird feeling though, something feels off, which is the same feeling I had the day before I went into labor with my second baby (at 39w2d).

Baby girl was measuring about a week ahead at my growth ultrasound (which my Dr said since I didn’t have my first ultrasound til 12 weeks, andI ovulated 5 days early, it’s very possible I’m 3-7 days farther than they think so maybe??)

As DONE as I am, I’d love to make it to 39-40 weeks, because we still have several things to get done! 🫠

Hi all

Hi everyone I’m new here, I’m currently 7 weeks pregnant with my little surprise 🙈. I also have a 4 year old little girl, It took us 2 years to conceive her. So it was a little shock to pregnant again 😂. In also 38 so id accepted that my 4 year old would be our only 1, and tbh I thought I was getting to the peri menopausal stage (obviously not). Don’t get me wrong this baby is very much wanted and already very loved. It was just a surprise that’s all.
Has any one else had a little surprise? Or has it taken you a long time to conceive? I’ve been in both positions so I will understand what ever. Xx

Trying to stay positive

Hi I’m a first time mom and I’m absolutely miserable, my stomach hurts a lot and my obgyn said that my stomach is going to stay this size while pregnant, it’s very small and baby doesn’t have enough room , I just want to cry because sometimes it’s painful . I’m so close to the end I’m due August 7th
