She’s here and up all night!!!

Had my little girl by planned section today! She is adorable but oh my gosh she is stage 5 Clingon 🤣 she constantly wants to be held… the nurse said it’s normal for second children to want to be closer fed/held on the first night instead of the usual second night people hear about. We will see if this theory holds up….

In the meantime I’m just enjoying the snuggles 🩷🩷🩷

Is anyone else finding their newborn super clingy and won’t sleep unless they are on you and just waking up constantly??

How to help my babies hair grow??

My elizabeth is almost 2 months and has like no hair on the top of her head. she has plenty of hair on the sides and back on her head but none on the top. recommendations to help it grow?

Overnight stays.

My husband and I are planning a weekend trip in September and we’re considering letting our baby stay with her grandma (his mom) for the weekend. I’m split in half about it. It isn’t like I don’t trust her I completely do it’s more of I’m scared of how my baby is gonna do. My husband and I haven’t spent any personal time or really any time at all together since she was born. I’m a SAHM and my husband works 80 hours a week. She is attached to my hip and will only sleep if I rock her or if she’s in her rocker with her special song. She’s never spent a day without me the most she’s spent is 2 hours without me. She will be 5 months old so she will also be going through the weird faze of a sleep regression which makes me worry 10x more. She was sleeping through the night until 2 nights ago and now she’s waking up at 4:30 but just needs to soothe to go back to sleep. She’s also on a strict schedule that works really well for her and if you stray from it she throws a fit. It just makes me worried to take her anywhere cause I don’t want to stress anyone out cause I know she can be a lot. Does anyone have any advice on what to do or should I say screw it and bring her?

8 Week Old Fussiness

I understand she’s at the peak of crying phase but I’m at the end of my checklist of things to do to calm her down.
Plus in the heat she’s working herself up and making herself even warmer.
I’ve tried baths, bottles, dummies, skin-to-skin, the works and nothing helps.
Any advice would be amazing!

Have I been rude?

This is all a bit petty. My daughter turned 4 months the other day and my mother in law came by today and kept telling me that she’s 5 months old even when I told her no she’s 4 months old she kept trying to correct me then to top it off my husband counted the months and then backed his mum by saying she’s 5 months old. Just to clarify to everyone here she was born on 6th march. So because they both kept trying to correct me and make me feel like I’m being stupid I ended up saying “she’s 4 months olds I should know I’m the mother!” and straight away there was an awkwardness and my husband looked at me so annoyed because I had just been rude in front of his mum. I just want to say I’m always such a laid back and easy going person too nice sometimes but at times I just get pushed. Just want to get peoples opinions because I’m feeling like I overreacted x

NO ONE told me it was going to be hard having 1 kid…literally no one. My mum had 5, both my parents never and still don’t work so they never stressed about juggling work & childcare. In fact no one around me worked/works other than my partner & his family. So literally I heard nothing about “oh you’re going to struggle, oh it’s going to be hard, what are you going to do about nursery etc etc” 😭🤣 they fed me a DREAM! Don’t get me wrong I love love love my son, love being a mum…but the tantrums, the phases, the mood swings, alllllll the emotions plus housework….pleaseeee send help haha.
