Who’s wrong?

Me and my partner went to stake and shake to share a burger for a small snack we went to go pick up his daughter and my son from his brothers house my partner asked me I’m going to give my half to my daughter I’m like okay whatever he goes and takes the burger and told her to eat it I got bothered because we were literally at stake and shake he could’ve just got her a whole meal knowing she hasn’t ate yet I told him you would’ve literally bought her a meal he takes away the meal and throws the food at me and told me not to ever say that again if her child is hungry she can have the food she comes first like why get me excited about the burger to give it to his daughter. I’m so fed up and I’m very upset.

Oh I forgot to mention he then drove to the restaurant and went inside with his kid to eat and left me and my son in the car..

Respectfully, there's no question here, he sounds like a monster. Throwing food at you, treating you and your son like that... you both deserve better. Hes made it clear who comes first and how he's going to act and treat you. Im sure it's more complicated than just this one story, but I'd encourage you to start planning your way out. This is abuse.

I mean, it's his kid. His choice. Why even say anything?

Why didn’t you just get another burger ?

I feel like you're both in the wrong here. No offense but a child's hunger should come before your own. And just like he could have ordered another burger, so could have you. Now him throwing it at you and making y'all wait outside is a different level of unacceptable.

Scared to leave baby with partner?

Is anyone else scared to leave their baby with their partner for long periods of time? My partner is so supportive and he is absolutely amazing with our little one however he is still very colicky and I know my husband doesn’t have the same level of patience as me and will loose his temper. He would never ever become aggressive towards the baby but his stress levels would rise to the max then I feel guilty. Sometimes I could deal with it all day then he gets like this after an hour of being with the baby when he finishes work so then I feel guilty needing that moment??

Help, baby foods

Hi! FTM, my son is 4 months old, I want to start him on SOME baby food before his dad starts getting him on his own so it’s not completely dependent on bottles because his dad doesn’t even know how to make a bottle… I was going to start him around 5 months to give him a month on some foods before his dad starts getting him for multiple days, any tips, advice or suggestions to ease the transition? He is allergic to dairy and have a very sensitive stomach (another reason why I wanted to start giving him some because I’m not sure that his dad wouldn’t just give him all kinds of things behind my back ands cause problems with his stomach…)

What gives a more positive first vibe (UK ish)

30 hours funded childcare for non working parents/a household with a non working parent

Or

45 hour funded childcare for working twin parents specifically for the 'extra twin' the first one would just get the standard 30 hours funded.

Just pondering based on the other poll.

Calendar App

I’m looking at getting an online calendar, preferably an app to share childcare arrangements with everyone involved in my daughter’s care.

Has anyone got any recommendations?

My 2 year old doesn’t know how to play with other little children around the same age!!

My 2 year old is used to older children and plays happily with them however we’ve just come back from a little caravan holiday and whilst we were there she was playing on the park whilst another little girl was also playing rather than trying to interact she would come over to me and her dad and tell us the little girl wanted to play with her but wouldn’t actually play and would just stand there awkwardly and run away from the other child. How do I help this?

Am I the crazy one or is my husband just being a man??

So when I want to go shopping my idea is taking my time to enjoy being out and looking around, ya know, shopping. I don't want to be rushed because then I just get irritated not having fun anymore for an outting we set up to do with him hating life because I dont take only 10 minutes for the whole ordeal to hurry up to go home as fast as possible. To me, thats what women do, when we want to shop its to enjoy being out and taking our time not to be rushed around to buy and run. My mom and I like to go out shopping for our fun to hang out together (when she comes to visit from her state and when I was growing up) my thought was most women do this that its not weird. My husband admits he despises shopping because after 10 minutes at a store he's miserable hating being out and just want to go home and he hates standing around with me while I shop.....but also agreed to take me out in the first place...😒 today, we have some lady comimg at some point (after her nail appointment she says) to pick up some shirts my husband customized for her. She said she will text when on her way. We need to go to the grocery store and I wanted to stop at a thrift for a tiny bit of a "me" thing. He would rather we go to the thrift, drop off our donations and as soon as he lady says shes on our way drop what we're doing to rush home for that. To me, I find it kinda inconsiderate shes like "after my nail appointment ill say when im omw" instead of asking about a time to meet like we're supposed to wait around all day until shes ready just whenever. Husband is like "or ill just tell her when she texts we'll be back around x time because my pregnant wife wants to shop i guess" I said then id rather you just leave me and the kids at the store while you rush home to do that then come back for us rather than rushing me. We would be fine for an hour. 😒 idk if this is more of a vent or a question but im just irritated. I only get to do something for me on weekends for a short burst that's not grocery shopping. Not even every weekend just occasionally. I just don't want to be rushed especially because someone else is being inconsiderate about meeting time.
