Could it be that he’s uncomfortable in his car seat? I’d look on facebook for a car seat group (make sure its run by people that have been properly trained) and post on there for a fit check, if you feel comfortable posting a picture in the comments there might be something obvious that i can point out but I’m in the uk so we have completely different car seats and car seat laws to you guys x

I would love to give you inspirational advice, but both my boys were like this. My first grew out of it around 3 months. My second boy it took like 14 months…

My 8 week old is like this too but it’s never been her favorite thing. Is there an infant insert? If so, does he still fit in the weight requirements or is he bigger than the recommended weight now? If not you could try a portable sound machine or a little activity bar that hangs on the handle. I have both for my daughter and it’s helping a little. She’s starting to get distracted by the little activity bar which is giving me a few minutes of peace in the car. I can also play music or shushing noises on her portable sound machine that helps her fall asleep sometimes.

My eldest hated it as this age and my second hates it too, it’s just something they grow out of!

Same! My 6 week old hates being in the car. He usually doesn’t mind being in the seat if i carry it, but is not happy in the stroller or car. Hoping he will get used to it after a while.

Going on 9 weeks, baby girls hates it unless she’s got her pacifier or is asleep.

Breastfeeding

I was so adamant on only breastfeeding my baby when I was pregnant. I bought three different pumps to try out. At first it was going great. My mum was with me constantly cooking for me to build my supply and I was breastfeeding at night and if not then always pumping. The health care professional advised me that my LO wasn’t gaining enough weight and to top up on formula if I couldn’t get my supply up. As time went on I was being advised more bottles of formula as her weight still wasn’t getting to the right level. Eventually I would only pump 20-30ml of breastmilk. This was no where near enough and my LO would get frustrated on the nipple and wouldn’t settle until given a full bottle of milk. It was very disheartening seeing such little supply, I would pump until my nipples would turn inside out. Until I barely produced enough to I stopped at around 2/3 months and have been giving her formula ever since.

Everyday I feel so guilty for stopping I regret it so much I wish I tried harder. I look at my baby and think maybe she isn’t hitting her milestones because of this or she might get childhood obesity or develop illnesses in the future. Whenever I see women online pumping or breastfeeding their babies I feel like I failed my LO. Has anyone else experienced this? And I was wondering whether I generally didn’t have a supply or I wasn’t pumping enough ? My sister also went through the same thing.

Intimacy with partner

My husband and I have been cosleeping with our baby girl since her birth and it’s been hard to get intimate and have sex because of that.
For those who coslept, how did you keep it going?

Co-sleeping

Hi Mamas! My baby and I have been co-sleeping since he turned 1 month old. He is now 5 months old and has been sleeping longer stretches. He still wakes up to feeds like 2-3 times at night, I simply just feed him while laying down and would fall asleep together.

Anyways, I just want to know how and when did you switch from cosleeping to baby sleeping in their own bed?

I was thinking for our family, that we will wait for him to sleep through the night before transferring him into his own bed. But I’m curious to know what other parents have done 🫶🏼.

Bedtime

My baby is 6m old.
Bath is fine, he’s happy and playful, as soon as we take him out he is inconsolably crying, he screams super loud and won’t stop until he’s asleep. We’ve tried shortening the bath, shortening and extending the wake window, I know he isn’t starving I make sure to bathe him 1 hour ish bf he’s due to eat.
He might be teething, could it be related to that? Does yours do the same and when did it stop

Baby Gift List

Hey everyone so my mom told me to make a registry for my sons birthday cause he had family far away that wanna get him gifts. But after putting toys and clothes and a bed frame with all the accessories and stuff it’s like 91 things on the list. I obviously don’t expect all of them but should I cut things off of it? Should I make it smaller?
