Night terrors?

My baby is 7m and slept through the night since he was about 2m. He’s now started having these panicky episodes several times a night. He’ll still be asleep but it’s like he’s having a really bad dream and takes a few moments to settle down again. This happens about 4 times a night. Nothing in his life/ routine has changed that I can think would cause this? Has something upset him that I’m not aware of? I’m worried and don’t want him being upset like this every night 😰

My son did this when he was teething but it would last a lot longer than a few moments but worth a check? X

Oh bless, night terrors are so sad to watch. From what I remember when my little sister had them it’s not like nightmares where something is scary, they are caused by the nervous system getting ‘stuck’ when moving from sleep cycle (deep to light etc). I know because my sisters happen around the same time every night my dad had to start lightly waking her 10 or so min before, not enough to fully wake her up but enough that she stirred and could change from deep sleep to light more easily.

Fucking exhausting

I knew having a baby wouldn’t be a walk in the park but this is ridiculous, we’ve been up with her since 12:30, it’s now 3:20! I’m actually so exhausted I’m not even tired anymore. My fiancé has to be up at 7:45 so he’s gone to sleep about 30 minutes ago when I managed to get baby to stop crying. She’s 10 months and only had one night like this. I’ve also kicked the baby gate so I’ve possibly got a broken little toe, last week she headbutted me and broke my tooth so now I look like a crackhead🙃 I’m just adding things that have gone wrong to the biggest list 😭

Failed NST Test , 36 weeks and 3 days pregnant

Hi I’m a first time mom and I went in for an urgent NST test today at my obgyn office and baby boy failed the test he wasn’t moving much and his heart rate kept going up . They sent me to get an ultrasound and the ultrasound tech said everything looked normal , I was looking at the ultrasound and he barely moved . I kept telling my doctor that he isn’t as active as he used to be . My obgyn never takes my concerns seriously, what should I do ?

Q regarding hospital bag 😃 / BF

Hi guys!

I’m trying to figure out what I should bring as far as pumping supplies to the hospital (spectra vs medela pump) and where did you store the colostrum/ milk?! Thank you so much !

What would you expect?

If your partner had gone on a lads holiday (6 days), a stag do (long weekend) and then countless night outs since the start of the year, would you expect something in return? I'm not a drinker and my friends are more likely to suggest coffee dates, are all married and holidays with them are not likely, so it's not like we can match like for like. I almost feel like I should be gifted something to say thank you for looking after our LO solo, but don't know if I'm being silly 😅🫣
