Hi, I have changed my little girl over but just laid the back slightly so shes not too sat up. We found this worked for us cause she is so curious and she also never got along with the carry cot due to her reflux. If she falls asleep we lay it back for her but she honestly has started loving going out in the pram since switching her over ! Xx

Oh good to know, thank you! Yes I’m finding my little girl has really bad FOMO and loves looking around. I’ll try her tomorrow and see how she gets on. Have you found a decent umbrella which helps keeps them in the shade? Mainly her legs I think are going to be sticking out under the hood x

Moved my first at 3.5 months using the recline position. She hated the bassinet, had terrible reflux so she was constantly sick. Being more upright really helped. The only reason I haven’t move my youngest is because the bassinet offers more sun protection x

I changed ours over a couple of days ago, my little boy was getting too long for his bassinet and kept getting his arms stuck when we took him out! He’s 18 weeks but quite a long baby! Haven’t had him sat up all the way, mostly fully reclined still!

I was a bit worried about the sun so I got a parasol but it’s been too windy to use it, luckily the shade just about covers his feet and I’ve draped a muslin over the little handlebar to make some more shade! Xx

Nursery complaint about little boy screams

My little boy has always been a screamer and I mean distressing high pitch screaming. I’ve always worried about it and to be honest I dread taking him places because I get embarrassed. My husband has always reassured me it’s fine but today his nursery have mentioned it so I’m getting really worried.
He does it when he’s excited and when he’s unhappy. But he does do it a lot throughout the day.
Has anyone experienced this with their child or older children and how did things turn out? He’s been doing this since 6 months.

He’s saying about 6 words, ball, duck, bubble, dada, mama, book. Give eye contact, responds to his name, interacts with us. Loves other kids.

Thanks!

1 nap at almost 11 months old?

What are the signs that a baby is ready to drop to 1 nap normally? I keep being told 10.5 months is too early for a 1 nap day but she managing long wake windows and starting to fight 2nd nap and bedtime (taking me 1 hour to put down! ) !

Bonding with baby

I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I feel awful saying this but I’m not bonding with her at all.
I don’t know whether it’s because my pregnancy has been on the back burner as we have lost my dad about a month ago, but I just don’t feel close to the baby at all
My first daughter I’m absolutely obsessed with but I just can’t seem to feel that obsession with this baby.

Even when the baby moves and i just don’t feel connected

What can I do?

Did you struggle with breastfeeding?

Hi all, planning on having elective c-section. Wondering if you struggled with breastfeeding due to the c-section, especially colostrum in the early days?

Baby always crying

Ok my baby is 13 days old and seems to constantly cry.. my first was not like this and I’m a single mum so struggling.. she is fed (I think struggling with gas/reflux possibly) changed, etc but always seems unhappy. Especially between 5-11pm but now it also seems to be all day. I take about an hour to console her, then 20 mins or so after I put her in her cot then she wakes and cries more and I do the same thing over and over again… very hard to console and I don’t know what she wants… any suggestions? Anyone been through the same? Thanks!
