Belly dropped

So I am 34 weeks +1 with my first and I think my belly dropped today. It literally feels like he is between my legs and I have to pee constantly even when I just went. So I panic bought everything I need for the hospital bag and postpartum care. How long after belly dropping did you go into labor?

Do you mind if I see a picture of previous baby bump and now I can give you a little bit of a better answer

With my first, I felt like I had a bowling ball literally on top of my cervix for at least three weeks. Smart to be prepared, but it doesn’t necessarily mean labor is close. My second sat low for about the same, iirc. Mucus plug was a better tell for me both times!

Not for another 6 weeks with my first 😅 and my second was low most of the pregnancy so I feel like I didn’t have a belly drop moment with her. After 35 weeks with my first pregnancy I started waddling and felt like I was literally walking around her head everyday. Hang in there mama!

I know I dropped and then a week later I lost my mucous plug and then a week after that she was born

My son drops low into my vagina area lol I don't think it is anything to be concerned about especially in the weeks your in. I'm 35 weeks so I get it. I have to often sleep with my legs spread, sit with them wide too.

Nursery complaint about little boy screams

My little boy has always been a screamer and I mean distressing high pitch screaming. I’ve always worried about it and to be honest I dread taking him places because I get embarrassed. My husband has always reassured me it’s fine but today his nursery have mentioned it so I’m getting really worried.
He does it when he’s excited and when he’s unhappy. But he does do it a lot throughout the day.
Has anyone experienced this with their child or older children and how did things turn out? He’s been doing this since 6 months.

He’s saying about 6 words, ball, duck, bubble, dada, mama, book. Give eye contact, responds to his name, interacts with us. Loves other kids.

Thanks!

Bonding with baby

I’m currently 30 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I feel awful saying this but I’m not bonding with her at all.
I don’t know whether it’s because my pregnancy has been on the back burner as we have lost my dad about a month ago, but I just don’t feel close to the baby at all
My first daughter I’m absolutely obsessed with but I just can’t seem to feel that obsession with this baby.

Even when the baby moves and i just don’t feel connected

What can I do?

How many words can your 1yr old say?

My son is 14½m and at his first birthday could say 5 words. now he can say "more, help, please, thank you, mama, dada, baby, yummy(when eating), uh oh", and he immitates words like if i yell for my husband he'll copy me and call for him too. he also barks at the dog😂

Baby always crying

Ok my baby is 13 days old and seems to constantly cry.. my first was not like this and I’m a single mum so struggling.. she is fed (I think struggling with gas/reflux possibly) changed, etc but always seems unhappy. Especially between 5-11pm but now it also seems to be all day. I take about an hour to console her, then 20 mins or so after I put her in her cot then she wakes and cries more and I do the same thing over and over again… very hard to console and I don’t know what she wants… any suggestions? Anyone been through the same? Thanks!

Did you struggle with breastfeeding?

Hi all, planning on having elective c-section. Wondering if you struggled with breastfeeding due to the c-section, especially colostrum in the early days?

When did you start extending car seat time past 30 minutes?

At what age did you feel comfortable letting your baby stay in the car seat for more than 30 minutes at a time? Did anyone get different advice from their health visitor or paediatrician, especially for longer journeys?
