Scars

Hi ladies! How are your scars? I want to opt for a c section but I’m wondering if the physical recovery and aesthetically worth it or not

Thanks in advance

I'm 5 months pp and I can barely see my scar. I haven't ever used any creams or scar treatments either. My physical recovery is also fine, the only thing I'm not doing still is lifting really heavy things (like heavy furniture, etc.)

I hate my c-section overhang/shelf. I didn’t do any scar therapy but I did lose weight about 20 months pp and it was still weird. I am pregnant again and scheduling a c-section so idk if it will be worse or the same after.

C section.

I’m booked in for a c section next weds due to GD and big baby

However they have told me I haven’t got a definite time as I’m technically on like a reserve’s list but top of the list.
I could potentially turn up weds n be told to go home due to emergencies etc..
Has anyone else had this?
I’m based at chesterfield hospital if that helps.

This doesn’t help my anxiety after traumatic first emergency section.

Any advice/experiences would be appreciated.

Growth scan

Has my first growth scan today and baby is apparently weighing 3.3lbs which is below average. 7.7th percentile. This was due to his stomach measurement being under. Head and thigh measurement were both fine. Doctor reviewed my scan and said I need another scan in two weeks and mentioned induction. Anyone else been on this situation and what happened?

Pelvic pain

Any tips for pelvic pain. The only area of pain I have is right in between my legs especially on the left side. It’s agonising if I move in a certain way. And nothing seems to be easing it. I’m 35 weeks and I don’t know if I can do it for another 5 🩵

Contractions

Girls what did your contractions feel like? I feel like I’ve trauma blocked my contractions with the pain from getting induced with my first 😂😂

I’ve been getting quite intense period pain type feelings. They’re inconsistent so I don’t believe I’m in labour I think it’s just my body prepping! X
