I had a 2nd degree tear & i had the foam but honestly never used it, my faves were spritz for bits (chuck a little in a bath as well), witch hazel liners & the big cooling gel pads that u just snap in half & chuck in ur underwear. I also used period nappies for a couple weeks x

I used the spritz for bits and the foam

Tried the ice pads hated them. Felt bulky and uncomfortable.
The liners I found ok.

I used the frida mesh pants which were great. Meant I didn't have to worry about ruining pants and didn't feel like I was wearing a nappy. (Just a personal thing. Didn't want to feel like I was wearing a nappy 🤷‍♀️)

Had a second degree tear and some minor labial tears too

Oh! Peri bottle! I found it great for cleaning everything down there during and after going to the toilet. With a very light dab dry

I’d honestly not bother until you’ve given birth. See what type of birth you end up having first 😊

Amazon next day delivery what you need rather than what you think you’ll need. I see so many mums saying they bought peri bottles and witch hazel pads then never used them after a section.

I bought boxes of pads reading I’d bleed for 6 weeks and both births I barely bled a week.

Boyfriend wants to put baby for adoption.

My one month old has always been on the fussier side since birth, lots of crying and just wants to be held. Recently, he was “diagnosed” with colic so the crying at night has been intense for long periods. I try my best to console him but there’s not much I can do other than to hold him and give him gas drops to help. My boyfriend (his dad) doesn’t have as much as patience as I do and he made a comment while our baby was intensely crying and said “this is what makes me want to put him up for adoption”. I immediately started crying because instead of him trying to help me to console our baby he makes comments like that. What would y’all have responded or done about that
comment if it was said to you?

Nappy bin - worth it? Angel care vs tommee tippee ?

Hello
I was wondering if getting a nappy bin is worth it or not ? Or do you just use a scented bin bag ?
We also have a dog and where we live there is no bin outside so we have to put the poop bags in our house , so I was thinking maybe it’s worth getting one for the scent as it could double for the baby and our dog ?
If so, do you recommend the angel care bin or the Tommy tippee ? I’ve heard that some people say even the Amazon recharge are expensive and they just use a scented bin bag (with we do, from Costco).
I’m a bit lost of the topic
Thank you ☺️

Am I wrong for not letting my BF discipline our child over something he actually does himself like scream and hit?

My bf is often screaming yelling and aggressive at times and I get so angry when he tries to discipline our child about her screaming and hitting bc he does the very exact same thing

Am I wrong for not letting him say anything to her about it bc he’s just being a hypocrite bc when he does it it’s ok but when she does it it’s wrong. I want him to lead by example and then he can say something to her

Or should I still let her discipline her and teach her better?

Am I being selfish and unreasonable?

I never got the birth or the breastfeeding journey I dreamt of. My birth was a traumatic emergency c-section and as a result, my breastfeeding was delayed and had to combo feed with formula. Sometimes there is breast aversion which breaks my heart and I have a mother who's advice is to give up and only bottle feed. I have always wanted a second baby but even more so now because I want to try a natural birth and exclusively breastfeed. Obviously I won't rush into the second because I want to put all my effort into my current baby.
Is wanting a second baby to di things differently unfair for my current baby? Am I being selfish and unreasonable?
