Pram

Hi, when did you change the pram from the carry cot to the seat? My little boy is nearly 4 months and just wants to look around everywhere

They don’t recommend you move them to the seat until they can sit up themselves around 6 months. Also some of the seats that come with pram shouldn’t be used before 6 months unless is specifically states that the seat can be used from newborn and lays completely flat as they need this for when they are asleep because of their spine. For example some of the mamas and papas come with an newborn part for the seat but some icandys don’t technically lay flat completely so aren’t recommended until 6 months x

We changed at 6 months but still kept it reclined until he was able to start sitting up.

I never tried it myself but I saw a few people would put a small pillow in the carrycot and give their child a little bit of tummy time in the carrycot so that they could see some things.

I changed at 12 weeks, but had the seat on the incline so he s still laying down. But as it doesn't have the sides around it, he could see so much more xx

We held out to 6 months (mostly because I wasnt mentally ready!) But he loved to look around too. We would sometimes put a cushion and roll up a blanket in the basinet and prop him up on his belly sp he could look out over the edge. He loved it and it was bonus tummy time!

I've had some super painful realizations since having another baby almost 4 months ago. Anyone else with more than 1 child experience that?

A lot of big feelings about my parents and myself as a mother. I had a big one today about myself as a mother.

Bath routines

How many times do you bath a baby week? Mine is 10 months and we bath her every other night, and clean her everyday. I read you shouldn’t bath a baby every day because it can dry out their skin? Just wanted confirmation I’m not doing anything wrong 🤣x

Belly dropped

So I am 34 weeks +1 with my first and I think my belly dropped today. It literally feels like he is between my legs and I have to pee constantly even when I just went. So I panic bought everything I need for the hospital bag and postpartum care. How long after belly dropping did you go into labor?

Is it normal?

I have a 5 year old. I've just found out im pregnant, I dont know if im happy or scared and over thinking but I dont know what to do. Is it normal to feel this way? I have noone to talk to it about and dont want to be telling anyone with being so early and having friends that have recently experienced a loss.

Night wakings

Hi, is anyone else struggling with their baby waking up multiple times a night ? My baby is currently waking up 6 or more times a night. She got so good and was waking up 1-2 times max and the past two or so weeks its up and down constantly!

Im not expecting her to sleep through the night but to just try and lower the amount of wakings at night cause im barely getting any sleep and during the day she doesn’t nap long never has.

Ive tried different things that I have seen but nothing seems to help. We have a consistent bedtime routine and have had it for ages now and bedtime is usually around 6:30-8pm.

Any advice would be appreciated
