Preterm labor

I am very worried that I am in preterm labor. I am 33w and 34w on Tuesday.
I’ve had contractions (my stomach gets hard all over). They go away and come back all day long since Sunday. I’m well hydrated.
Pelvic pressure is hit and miss some days.
Backaches there lower back
And last digestive crap been hitting me to kinda.
She’s moving fine. She gives me hell every day. My one worry about her wanting to come early is her weight. 31w I had an ultrasound (semi high risk, 22q deletion positive baby) and her weight was 3.4 not what it should be. So I’m worried about her being not enough weight.
Probably should call my doc but they’ll say go be put on monitor which, childcare for my 16 months son not easy right now.
Grandma and grandpa are third shifters.

Sounds like Braxton hicks. They tend to come around this time and more noticeable since it’s not your first. Keep doing what you’re doing and contact your ob in the morning. Time your contractions as well. If they last for longer than a minute and are consistent below 8 minutes apart then go to the hospital also if they get worse or your water breaks

So I have my twins early at 30 days + 3, and they were both 3lb2oz and 3lb5oz. Ish they are currently still in the NICU five weeks going. I would just prepare to have some NICU time just in case. Hope for the best, prepare for preterm. I really hope it is just Braxton Hicks. It is scary but you got this

It could definitely be Braxton hicks. A good way to know is if it’s painful or not. I was in preterm labor from 31w with contractions every 3 mins until 39 my baby was measuring super behind but ended up being perfect weight at birth. I was put on nifedipine to help the pain of the contractions and got the steroid shots but I was told if baby is going to come he is going to come and at this stage in pregnancy they will be okay just might need to be in the nicu for a couple weeks. I am wishing you luck.

Sounds like uterine irritability/braxton hocks I’ve had these tightening/hardening of tummy every single day since 29 weeks even now they thought I was in preterm labor, so they did all the things, but after 2 weeks of rest my cervix is a little thicker and they don’t see anymore funneling, and I’m to return to work this Saturday. And my cervix never opened. Do you notice they get stronger with movement?

Birth prep

Second baby and I have done nothing to prepare for birth mainly just because of running around after my toddler but as the date gets closer I’m worrying as I feel like I should be doing more. What are we all doing to prepare? Tips and tricks welcome! Also worrying as it’ll be my first time leaving my toddler for long and presumably overnight :(

Are pregnancy pillows actually useful?

Hello all,

I am pregnant with my first baby due in January and just wondering whether I should get a pregnancy pillow?

Do they actually help or make you sleep better?

Can you just use regular pillows and get the same result?

I've seen videos of mums saying they're pointless and just using normal pillows instead, even for breastfeeding.

The ladies who have tried pregnancy pillows, please let me know!

And if they really are useful, which shape or style is the best?

Thank you!

Breech

Should I be worried that my baby is breech at 25 weeks? 😊

Do you have a doppler at home?

I've just been curious! I've been checking up on my girl every couple of days briefly just to make sure she's good. This pregnancy I'm feeling movement a lot later and I suspect I have an anterior placenta vs posterior with my son.
